Fusion mode :fusion suit: inaccurate?

I don't usually get bothered about subtle diffences.

Like the varia suit changimg between each prime game.
(You can barely tell)

But the fusion suit featured in samus returns is wrong.

It has shoulder pauldrons?
The helmet is the wrong style, and not wide. :fusion:
The red portion of the chest is completely different.
The Cannon is the wrong shape and has yellow markings.

Less important differences:
Arm spikes are small and close together.
Overall armor color is off.

They probably changed it up because the Fusion Suit has been criticized quite a lot over the years, mainly for its unorthodox appearance. SR's Fusion Suit seems to be some sort of attempt at finding a middle ground between Fusion's radical suit design and a more traditional one. It's a shame, because the original Fusion Suit really looks good save perhaps the "hunchback" noticeable from the side and maybe even the gnarly-looking Varia version.

" "hunchback" " it's supposed to be a backpack.
At least in the concept art.

The lumpy shoulders, and incorrect arm cannon...
