WTF Metroid 2

So, here I am, at the last Gamma Metroid of the phase. When I kill it, I can continue on. I have 9 missiles (it takes 10 successful hits to kill one) so I go-a missile hunting.

Even at full health, EVERY ENEMY EITHER DROPS ENERGY OR NOTHING. But not a single missile. Wtf? Is there something I don't get here? D: Can somebody please tell me how to fix this?

its an old game.. they do that kind of shit.

Usually each phase has a missile/health refill pod nearby. If you can't find one then just work your way back to the ship (since it can refill them).

in metroid 2 some enemies types drop energy and some drop missiles and that is ALL they drop.

Just went back to my ship... Only got three missile drops, and only from Hornoads.

Is there somewhere I can find a list of missile-droppers?

Look for the missile and energy charges near where you're at.

I've been using the map, actually. :P I meant a list of enemies that drop missiles, sorry. :P

its actually not

whether they drop missiles or not IS random, but they will ONLY drop missiles.

you never get energy from a hornoad, and never get missiles from chute leeches, etc, etc.

Yeah ! , I too always had those strange extremely unlucky moment, the best way is to find a missile refill or the creature with a dart flying in circle. The crazyest thing that happened to me is in final fantasy 6 ( with kefka ) I was crossing a large large portion of the game with no fight, my brother was like " What ? did you use a cheat" . Those thing are like, 1 / million chance, or more.
