Super Metroid no question about it. The music was perfect for the areas and the grappling hook is no doubt the funnest power up ever! The thing that amazes me most about it is they did awesome boss intros and built so much drama without even using cutscenes!

Super Metroid
1.) Music 2.) Ability to run faster (incuding the booster) 3.) Wall Jump 4.) Toggle System 5.) ...Which allowed for some really cool glitches 6.) Sequence Breaking 7.) and much, much more! Fusion and Zero were cool too; i liked Zero better than fusion just because it was less linear. And an Honorable Mention to Metroid 2. Pretty awesome game, but just didn't have a big replay value to me, which is important. In all honesty, i didn't like Original Metroid that much. Lack of saving, 30 energy BS, no pointing down (bombs helped), and lack of any sort of navigational system whatsoever. even for the areas you've been. I mean, samus could've at least drawn something on a peice of paper. damn. But i do enjoy the challenge sometimes! :wink:  Hi, I'm Silver_Skree, and I make bad decisions! |

Strange how many "which metroid game is best" threads this place has...
My favorite to play is Metroid Zero Mission. My most memorable experience however; is reserved for Metroid Prime 3 Corruption. Woman are not sexual objects they are people too. And most of them could kick your ass too. I would if i could find you
