Who thinks kraid really needs to come back?

As much as I enjoyed 64 Nintendo has gone to CD/DVD. The only catridge they will make is goin to be DS. I grew up on the catridge system (nes,snes,gb/gbc &n64) and enjoyed the fact that they couldn't be scratched like crappy cd BUT Nintendo has followed suit with Playstaion and crappy Xbitch sry Xbox. Dam shame...So to answer your question, No probaly not.........

When the Metroid series recycles bosses (Ridley, Meta Ridley, Meta Ridley of Metroid Prime, Omega Ridley, Ridley of Super Metroid, Neo Ridley) it doesn't make sense in a storyline perspective. Meta Ridley did make sense because it was a project to revive Ridley, but the rest were a little stretched. I do like fighting Ridley the many different ways though.

I don't really think Kraid should return, but I would love to fight it in some sort of Super Metroid remake, just to see it from a 3D point of view.

True, im sure they could make up a plot to go along iwht it, saying that the games dosent have to be the next one in the time line, could be middle before etc a time when kraid did exist?

It would be interesting to find out about Kraid's origins, or Ridley's. I'd always wondered about some sort of prequel. Then again, some things are better left as they already are.

would not be impressed.

I always thought the Parasite Queen could have made a good Kraid. Slap a Kraid skin on, replace the green blast with stomach spikes etc.

It'd suck to reduce him to a weak first boss but.

But I think if Kraid was fought in 3D, it'd be similar to the Parasite Queen fight. So would Mother Brain really.

He was THE toughest boss in metroid for crying out loud! (For me that is)
Then again, I think kraid without ridley will eventually balance out the two villains, and I liked a whole lot of the SM fight concept of using kraid's belly spikes to your advantage. Meta kraid could be a possibility, but how will this metallic mutant improve his metagame?

I don't think he should come back. Its how people said, fighting the same bosses again is sometimes cool, but doing it all the time certainly becomes annoying and repetitive.

If they release more metroid games, then after 2 or 3 a Kraid battle would be very nice as a "gift" (like a hidden boss), bringing that nostalgia metroid fans usually feel, but doing it in the next game, for example, is not what I'm looking for.

To me, Kraid's just a mindless guard dog who had absolutely no purpose, other than to provide another big monster for Samus to beat. At least Ridley has something of a history with Samus. Kraid has nothing.

why would he want to come back if he always gets his ass kicked by samus? he should just lay back and live the rest of his life doing what he does best, drinking mayo straght out of the jar with a straw.

hmm... maybe kraid was being villainous for the wrong reasons, and is misunderstood or something like that. That could be an interesting theory if it's not busted yet.
