Hilarious! Although it only happened to that degree in Zero Mission. It was also pretty stupid that a falling rock caused it.

Oh yeah, I remember that comic. Very good, and so true. Prime's method of losing items was almost as bad and nonsensical as Other M's.

I remember hearing about a concept for Metroid Prime 2 where instead of having your abilities stolen, you'd keep them. You'd download new ones to supplement the current ones at special stations; however, whenever you did, the station would automatically copy a random one of your existing powerups and give it to all the enemies to use against you.

And what's so wrong with Prime's reason for removing the tech from Samus? Technology is bound to malfunction at some point.

I find it very unbelievable how Samus' Chozo power-suit will malfunction over being just smashed into a wall. Malfunction or not, the chances of it happening are very unlikely. Hell, even medieval armor would of be fine. I'm pretty sure her suit suffered worse and never had a problem.

The "wall-slamming" as you put it, was a much harder impact than it even looked. It likely drained Samus's feeble 99 energy and destroyed her Varia Suit and upgrades. In ZM it destroyed everything, which was worse. Echoes was better since she still had the Varia Suit , Morph Ball , and Charge Beam.

There was an electrical blast. Im sure that had something to do with it.
