That's actually one of the rules I have when I select fanart to add to the DA gallery, dude. There might be a couple scattered here and there but for the most part, it's plenty original.

That is the main reason why we are not creating a MDb Group on DA. We do not want art that is just a photomanip, a paintover, or some other kind of tracing technique of a premade piece of art, OR something that is just poorly or unskillfully made. That is why the DA page will be exclusively hand-picked art.

The way I see it: if you want to see the broad range of art on DA by EVERYONE, use the search field. It's not difficult. If you want to go to a gallery that has a lot of hand picked, well-made art? Then we're going to try to be the best place for that.
