The PSMP

The Power Suit Media Player is especially developed for use with Chozo suits. Not only does it let the user shoot the crap out of enemies while listening to his/her favorite songs, but it may also make the enemies get carried away and start to sing or dance, leaving them completely open to attack.

I also includes an USB cable to send your songs from your PC to the Power Suit.

Boredom Destroyer (aka insta-hypermode)

This powerup instantly infuses all of the enemies in a hunter's vicinity with Chozo nanotechnology for advanced weapon and armor use. Though this may seem counter-intuitive in battle, it helps a good warrior not get bored when he/she/it is on a mission with a pitiful lack of opposition. This powerup can also be used to bolster allies so that they might stay alive for more than 5 minutes (unless, of course, they clip into a wall or fall off a cliff). User reviews of the Boredom Destroyer have stated that it makes them feel like a more accomplished warrior at the end of the day when they have defeated an entire army of soldiers infused with power comparable to their own. In fact, to date, there has only been one negative review by a hunter who accidentally activated the BD while in the middle of an already sticky situation and managed to file the review just before death. It is recommended that a customer put a password lock on the BD to avoid such unfortunate circumstances.

Metroid Creator

The Metroid Creator is the brand-new suit power-up by Darth Naner Productions. It is the solution for all Metroid fans out there just waiting for a new sequel. The process is the following: when you shoot an enemy to destroy it, instead of it blowing up, it becomes a DS Card or a Wii Disk ready for use. All the user has to do then is insert the DS Card or Wii Disk on the respective system. A full Metroid game will be there waiting for you!

Interesting thread. It reminds me of a thread I once made long ago at another Metroid message board.

Tractor Beam

In following Corruption's stackable grapple beam upgrades, the tractor beam will make Samus' grapple beam truly a weapon in its own right. Lock onto enemies and engage the grapple beam. If the enemy is smaller than you, you can pull it closer. If it is larger, you can pull yourself toward it. Perfect for pulling those pesky fliers down to ground level, where you can hit them more easily.

The Grapple Beam is a tractor beam, as are the "snare beams" that are fired out from Metroid Prime. It's green color. Samus' Power Beam also has a "limited tractor beam," as it draws energy pick-ups toward her.

Additionally, this beam has a repulsor function; you can push enemies away from you (or yourself away from them). If there happens to be a pit of lava or something nearby, you could even throw smaller enemies into it and watch them burn.

Cool.

Bio Visor
This visor allows Samus to interact and communicate with the creatures of a planet. For example, she can call upon War Wasps to kill off larger enemies. She can also communicate with Metroids to attack Pirates or tell Sanddiggers to create tunnels through wreakage and debris. With all the enemies in the Metroid Universe, the possibilities are near endless. The Bio Visor is similar to the Command Visor, but you must scan a creature then see if that's the creature that can help you. If not, scan another. If it's what you think will help you, scan the object you question that the creature can help you with. An icon will then appear that will allow you to tell the creature to perform the task.

That's a really cool idea. Like Sylux said, though, it should probably be used for creatures or things designed by the Chozo. You'd be controlling Metroids.

As for me, I have had quite a few of my own, all of which are pre-Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

Grapple Ball
The Grapple Ball allows Samus to use the Grapple Beam while she is in the Morph Ball mode.

Pulse Beam
The Pulse Beam is based off the pulse cannon in Phazon Mines. Its start-up is delayed, but it fires a powerful beam. By delayed start-up, I mean that it's auto-charged.

Super-Charge Beam
It acts like the Charge Beam, but the beam that is fired out is much more powerful, and the tractor beam is increased.

Chrono Suit
This suit would likely make Samus transcend spacetime, as one who is immune to spacetime would have to be outside of it. Time freeze effects are nullified.

When I was a kid I used to draw levels for my own Metroid game, I invented loads of power-ups but my favourite was the 'Vicro Suit' it's a Green power suit with the ability to climb walls while outside of ball form and screw attack in morph ball mode, with 60% damage resistance. It's basically two powerups in one suit, they are like Spider Ball in Standing form and Screw Attack in ball form. I found a picture of Samus and made a rough mock up of the suit.

Sonic boom beam
The Sonic boom Beam sends a white plasma ball that after touching or 5 seconds after deployment explodes in a loud eroptioun. Causing most enimies to fall to the ground moaning in pain .
Log book description:
Sonic boom beam: A beam after firing sends out a earpiercing sound imobilizing or destroying most enimies deploying such device near Samus will cause visor to go offline shortly.

My powerup would be one that can retract the beam to uncover another hand. It'dmake it way easier to gab on ledges and do all the acrobatic stuff.

This should have been an exercise at Nintendo during the last 2 years or so. Employees could have left post-it notes on Sakamoto's desk with ideas for new power-ups to be in Other M.

Here's one:
A Metroid-based bio arm cannon augmentation. Used during overblast or other times of physical contact. Samus could suck the life out of an enemy for a short time to deliver damage while replenishing her own energy.
