It looks better all healed up, yes, but the photograph is awful. Please get whoever took that to take another one and use FOCUS. If you have to, take it from further away and zoom in.

I'v been thinking of getting a tattoo of Ridley for a long time now, I like this pic "smart_Ridley01" from the super metroid artwork section but i think the colors will need to be changed. Any ideas on coloration will help speed the process.

I've seen that sleeve before, and it looks awesome. Well, looks awesome now. My biggest problem with full sleeves is that they look like mud in 20 years.

That is a misconception. True in many cases I know, but not in any way because of the sole reason that it is a full sleeve.

Tattooing is infinitely complicated, and only in the past 20 years have real artists been getting into the industry and pushing the limits. Alot of the reason you see so many muddy looking or faded tattoos is because of poor design, being too intricate or too weak, or they put color into it without any sort of carbon base whatsoever.

Unfortunately the most common reason these days is that there are just so many people trying to make a buck and they just don't know jack shit other than how to get by and keep their job.

That will be something to keep in mind when or if I get one. If I did, it would be small and near the right shoulder and neck, that way no one can see it easily for if I regret it later on. Also I'd have to go hunting for a professional tattooist. Otherwise yes, it will look like some crap got stuck in my shoulder blade and won't wash off.

This is the artwork that your tat is based on. This render was released when Metroid Prime Hunters came out.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but your tat's based on that promo render from Hunters. It's also what they used on the game's boxart. It's still a badass tat, but thought you should know.

They based her design off of the MP2 version (the most noticeable difference being her helmet and visor) but they were inconsistent with it because if you look at this promotional render, her visor is like how it was in the first Prime. (also used in this alternative render)

I guess you could just say that it's Metroid Prime 2 Samus, since they utilized the same model (with the different helmet/visor) but there's no way you're going to be able to convince me that it's from Prime 1...

Well well well! You are correct sir! When picking the art for my tats, I sorted through tons of Samus pics, and one I found said Metroid Prime, but using the Hunters Samus. Must have been a fan made wallpaper. In any case, it's my favorite design and works well for a tat design.

I am tempted to get a Screw Attack logo myself, have been for a while. My friend wanted the triforce so I was going to go with him and get a screw attack. I just don't know... if I did I probably wouldn't have any colour there.
