Would anyone be willing to win this for me: http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r55173416 And after you receive it, I'd pay you and you could send it to me? I REALLY don't want to get a YJA account... not to mention i have an extremely small knowledge of the japanese language. I know this is a hefty request but I'm totally willing to go through with it. Then I'd scan them all for the MDb.

VGMS, if you have that manga/guide, any chance you could scan it for us? I feel like we work you to death, so no big deal if you don't have time to.... OR I could give you money as collateral through paypal, and after scanning them send it back to you? I dunno just an idea.

Edit: Oh look, here's an even cheaper one: http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n71420513

Holy hell, its the Holy Grail of Metroid gamecube related items! I remember the Spice Orange Gamecube and Controller coming with a copy of Metroid Prime, but this is the treasure trove! (click the Holy Grail link to see what I'm talking about)

They're the special edition orange items that used to come with Metroid Prime Items.

Yes i own it many months ago, it was very expensive, about 5/6k yens like this auction (about the inside, well, i receive it, speedly look it, and put it in the box :/, but i think it's a guide), but you know, in metroid japan guide, i have also many fds/m2/m3 and not again japan guides from "new games" (like metroid from gba/gamecube/ds/wii).

I you whant to buy yourself, go to the website called "rinkya" (http://www.rinkya.com) to have YJ translated in english. Also, they can bought and ship for you (but i think you must pay before bid on the item, see the FAQ) because japanese on YJ do not ship to international, it's why Rinkya exist ;)

Well, search "metroid" on rinkya website and click on "Metroid All Items" to the next page (the result of the "metroid" request).

Me, i search on rinkya but i order from a french who live in japan (it's simpler for bigs orders when you personnaly know the person who order for you).

http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n71420513 is a manga of three volumes. It's a story of samus and joy, but i do not know more details...

You can look this french text about videogames and manga to see pictures of the joy and samus manga : http://www.jeuxvideo.com/articles/0000/ ... ossier.htm (middle of the page).

Rinkya is one of MANY deputy services.
I have also used http://shoppingmalljapan.com/ in the past but I use http://japamart.com now.
As for that Joy and Samsus manga, I have seen it many times on eBay...
If you want IE I could bid on them for you, but you will have to pay all the fees and shipping.
I also have those mangas im my collection as well.

haha work me to death. ;) funny... I have no prob scanning them, the only thing is, I need a scanner! haha!
I have a real old one, I dont even know if it works!
I will see what I can do. My boss has one at work, but I would have to see what I could do next month, this month I can not. Samethard
knows why!

I do not mind giving them to you to scan, its for the MdB after all. But I would want them back of course. They were not easy to get. We can work something out if I can not find a way to get them scanned.

Yes as true as that may be, but shipping it from YJ to NA will cost you roughly $50 with fees and whatnot those services charge!

yes but with my friend from japan it's not a problem because he keep my goods even a middle/big box is full before ship it (instead of ship item one by one... > out of price).

edit => update of my goodies :

1 - a brand new unopened bobblehead (well, sealed) ! now i have used and sealed (same for the yujin figure). now i need to found a used joyride, to have every figure out and in the box :D (goods addict !!!).

the bobblehead : http://i87.servimg.com/u/f87/11/07/75/25/dscn3210.jpg

2 - and a several set of SM magnets (51) :

many times i bought many set of 4 magnets on ebay (if i remember, i bought 7 sets, well > 28 magnets) but i recently buy every last magnets of the seller. the way it's i want to do a "frieze" to do the "metroid" word and "samus" with SM magnets (crazy, no ? :D).

the magnet set of 51 :
