Topically speaking, Samus should have a proper encounter with the Sonic the Hedgehog Universe. She could kill 'em all and assimilate their natural attributes. Sonic = Speedbooster. Miles "Tails" Prower = Flight. Knuckles = Hovering/Ground pounds in Maru Mari form. The list could go on, but those are the only characters I really care about.

Nah, she should just kill them all, no need for stuff she already has (but from a gameplay stand point, it makes sense). After Adventure 2 (and a little during) they all started to get bad.

I don't see why all of the Nintendo franchises couldn't exist in the same Universe. Like Hyrule in Metroid's time could be a planet in some system with a royal family and essentially be the Naboo of Metroid. Star Fox is a no brainer. Not that I'd want to see the characters interact so much as the mechanics merge. The GF having the Corellian fleet on its side, Landmasters blowing shit up and Arwings flying around? Yes please. Samus and Slippy power team? No thanks.

I like to believe that the Zelda Universe is more the ancient past of the Metroid Universe. Such as, if Samus was to ever time travel to the distant past, or Link to the distant future, they would find themselves in each other's Universe.
Mario would be the near-present, and Kirby is likely in the future (alongside Metroid), only on the other side of the Universe (or even in a different dimension).
Same with Star Fox; roughly the same time as Metroid, just a different edge of the Universe and a little earlier.
Donkey Kong would be slightly earlier in the timeline than Mario.
Fire Emblem would be around the same time as Zelda, maybe a bit later, but definitely on another planet.
Earthbound is definitely the present and definitely on Earth.
F-Zero is likely closer to the Metroid future than Star Fox, and is likely closer to the events of Metroid, too.
Kid Icarus is further back than Zelda, obviously.
Pikmin is an easily overlooked (because of their tiny size) segment of the near-future, closer to the present of Earthbound than the future of Star Fox or Metroid.
I've already covered the idea that Pokemon is a creation of a lonely, very eccentric Chozo scientist in the distant past of the Metroid Universe during the race to create the Maru Mari; but I'll go ahead and say that it would place somewhere a little past Earthbound in the near-present.
Animal Crossing is in the present/past on Star Fox's side of the Universe, where the humans are a rare (and eventually extinct) race of beings.

Those are the only pure Nintendo franchises that I can think of, so if anybody wants to add any that I missed or make any changes to the list, fire away.

I agree with all of Metroid being in the same Unniverse. But i think that the Zelda unniverse being a planet like Naboo is cooler. That way they can all interact better. I agree with all of the rest.

Princess Zelda was elected Queen of Hyrule at age 14! Then she was attacked by Ganon's Trade Federation and was trapped in Gerudo! (Where she met a 9 year old Link.) The Saga Begins...

A time warp opens up in Samus' time and she gets teleported to the Chrono Trigger universe seeing as how the game's main theme is about time travel it would kinda make sense. I want to know how she would react to other characters ( importantly her conversing with Magus(the badass in my avatar)) .
