Well I suppose I'll start off with a little description, MR is a Top-down perspective Metroid game, based after basically right after the events of Fusion and Samus is heading back to the Federation HQ, when she picks up a Space Pirate signal, and she tracks it to a small two planet solar system, Upon entry of the second planets atmosphere she gets attacked by Ridley who forces her to crash land on the planet, which is where the gameplay begins.
One major difference between this and other Metroid games is the fact that there is no jumping, involved, which in my opinion is a very large part of the Metroid games, but I am replacing that with larger maps more morphball puzzles and tunnels and secrets and stuff. Alot of the features will be based off Metroid Prime like for example the Beam system. There will also be a few challenging boss fights, There is gonna be at least 2 Fights with Ridley, and I'm planning one with Kraid aswell.

Development is going slow at the moment, unfortunately, I should get some good work on it next weekend if I don't get any more damned assignments.

Yeah, I'm going to try and work the basic enemies in this week, and maybe a Space Pirate and hopefully a Metroid, then I might release the demo, I'm thinking of like a survival mode, where you get given an item then you have to survive a wave of enemies then you go again with a new item, or something along those lines.
Also if you want to help just throw me a PM, I could use some help with graphics and music and SFX.










I love this concept, I'm interested in knowing how everything else will work out.
