Actually, if you think that Zero Suit Samus and Captain Falcon have it that bad, there's also Sheik.

People are recognizing even Sheik as "only from Smash Bros." They don't even like her in Ocarina of Time. And her continued presence in SSB makes them expect her to appear in another Zelda game. Which she never will. Ever.

This is my theory. Any zero suit cosplayers seen doing this pose repeatedly:
Have probably never picked up a Metroid game and simply decided to cosplay "that girl in the hot blue suit from smash"

I don't want to single this girl out, granted her costume is quite good. But I see her doing that damn pose in EVERY picture.

There are plenty of other poses to come up with, but girls like this only know the signature "brawl" pose.
P.S: I hate that pose. She looks like a goddamn ballerina.

Oh man, that chick. Back when I first did my zero suit, it would constantly get attacked and shit talked on cgl, with that girls picture always being posted right after saying "This is a much better Samus costume!"

But yeah. Admittedly I would have done the pose if I could have pulled it off, because its pretty iconic for samus and I'm pretty bad with my posing ideas, but most people just look like crap when they do it

You know whats another indicator of people who I think havent played the games? Shiny vinyl ish fabric. Or maybe its just people who annoy me. It makes no sense to me, especially the latex ones- why would your undersuit, so to speak, be made of a material that makes you sweat, doesnt breathe and builds heat? As much as I love Jenni's new varia/gravity suit, I hate her latex zero suit with a passion.... The Zero Suit really doesn't need to be more "sexy" than it is.
Also front zips. But now I'm getting into making vs buying a catsuit.

Well, thats cgl, and you gotta remember, cgl is section of 4Chan, hate is kinda unavoidable there, so take what anybody says on there with a grain of salt.

And I agree with the whole shiny vinyl/latex thing, it just doesn't look right to me, probably because Samus Zero Suit isn't shiny, so it just looks kinda off.

Was pretty shiny in M:OM though, and been a video game set in the future, the that fact it's shiny doesn't mean it's latex or similar materials, it could easily be a made up material that doesn't have the draw backs mentioned that just happens to be shiny, obviously we don't have such a material in the real world so cosplayers have to make do with what we do have if they wish to recreate the zero suit found in M:OM.

I didn't mind it to be honest.

Ah yes, that is true, the Other M suit is quite different. I'm not a really a fan of it either. Its mainly the heels, if it didn't have them then I'd think the suit would look alright, not as good as the regular zero suit, but still not half bad. They just look a bit ridiculous to me.

Honestly, I prefer the Young Samus/End Game Samus from Other M over Zero Suit Samus since playing Other M, despite not being a huge fan of the game.
