I've gotten back to playing Halo 4 after a few months break and I'm so rusty. Ugh...

I play enough shooters that I don't really get rusty when coming back to an old one.
remembering the button layout aside >.>

still don't get why Halo doesn't just let you map the buttons yourself.

New trailer from Halo 5 came out the other day, so seems like a good time to bump this thread.

Not sure how I feel about the whole "MC a Traitor" thing, but we'll see where it goes.

Not sure I see how he ended up with being branded a traitor.
Even if you follow the comics that is post Halo 4, all he does is CONTINUE being a hero.
We've yet to witness him do anything to actually be marked as a traitor.

I wonder if it's ONI using him as a scapegoat for something.
But if he has done something, I wonder what it is..
Could be that, looking for a way to resurrect Cortana, he sought Halsey. Only found out she "defected", and went looking for her anyway for her consultation.

By the way, welcom back. Haven't seen you in a while.

I'm guessing it has to do with Halsey, also.

Thanks, man. I kind of explained my absence if you're interested in the "How Was Your Day" topic, don't want to go too off topic here.

I need to check out the post Halo 4 comics. I feel like I'm missing out.

The comics so far is mostly follow up to the events and crew of Spartan Ops of Halo 4.
Makes me wonder if they'll at the very least summarize the events in the next game... seem kind of relevant to leave out.

Yeah, no kidding. They really seem to be making it essential to get into the "expanded universe stuff" to understand what the hell is going on.

Last time I saw spartans fight like this, I was watching something by Monty Oum.

Oh wow, I think over time Halo itself has been inspired by Red vs Blue. First moving heads and now this crazy fast action.

I know where I'm pre-ordering now.

My Gamertag is actually ONI Agent Locke.

I won't be preodering it.

1: There's no local gamestop where I live, no where remotely close.
2: don't have an Xbone yet. T_T

Spartans actually always moved like that. Bungie just did a terrible job at portraying them in the games. 343, since Halo 4, has been trying to portray them for the supersoldiers they actually are.

You can always pre-order online and have it shipped, though I understand more than anyone that's not always desirable. I pre-ordered ODST from Amazon, and some hailstorm in another town delayed the truck for a day. It was awful.

Sorry I should have specified the games. I've read some of the written material and graphic novels. Halo Wars portrayed Spartans in an awesome way.

Unrelated but I'm hoping Halo 5 has playable Elites... Spartan circlejerks aren't fun on custom game multiplayer.
