Fusion art is really hard to find on the internet. It'd be way cool if some of the Fusion Suit art were uploaded to an art section under Metroid Fusion.

3.5 is out. See the main page.
Please report strange layout phenomena and broken links here (as well as browser, version and OS).

Okay, in the Apps/Downloads section, the Metroid Cursors file is only 1kb in size, despite the link saying it is supposed to be about 19kb or so. Also, when trying to unpack it, it says the file is corrupted. Maybe someone with the correct file could fix the download? Or maybe we will remove it and make new cursors? *shrug*
Just something I noticed while grabbing M2edit.

I don't know if you can control it or not, but after I started that thread on Zero Punctuation I was wondering if the topic creators could be prevented from creating the same title thread.
Or, I could search before I post...

That is kinda strange. When I tried to download it, I got a 0 byte file. It's possible that the upload to Fileplanet may have been cut short... Do you still have the original backed up, Cap? I could come up with a way to do that, but it would require a bit of code work. To be honest, I don't think it's really worth it, since it's not like having multiple threads with the same title has been that big of a deal...
So, yeah, just look before you leap next time.
Oh, and be sure to post board suggestions to this thread in the future.
kthx

Just a little tidbit. It probably won't be covered in a major news post:
JesseD and I have created a new icon to compliment the address in your browser's URL bar. So just refresh and see!

Not guaranteed to be compatible with every browser. Sadly, that's just the nature of favicons.

I just noticed that in the Message Board, it's just a Metroid. In the actual site, it's a MOVING Metroid!!

I don't think IE6 supports animated icons. Not sure about IE7 either, since I don't have a copy handy for testing. May I suggest other alternatives? Lord Darth Naner wrote:I just noticed that in the Message Board, it's just a Metroid. In the actual site, it's a MOVING Metroid!!
Yeah, there are two icon files. One is a standard favicon.ico file which is pretty much universally sought in a webpage's root directory by web browsers. That's how the icon got onto the board; I didn't actually modify any of the board's code to make it appear. I have this file there so that web browsers which don't support the animated icon can at least still have a static one.
The other icon file is the animated .gif which is called by a specific line of code from the main page. Browsers that support it will use it, but otherwise the static one will become default.
Good to see that it's propagating itself.

I want to recommend that you try to get RSS for the main site. Is that possible?
