Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]This IS the most recent version of Firefox that runs on this particular OS. It occurs to me that newer versions of Firefox probably don't have this problem, and since I'm probably the only one with such an outdated version it's probably not worth the time trying to figure out what the problem is. So, yeah, just forget about the whole thing. If I need to view the gallery for whatever reason I can just open up Safari.

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]
You weren't reading what he wrote. The latest version of FF that works on Mac OS 10.4.11 is 3.6. FF4 or higher will not work. I'm curious: what kind of Mac are you using, Will? |

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]1.6 GHz PowerPC G5. I'm sure it's capable of running a newer version of Mac OS, but to the best of my knowledge upgrading the OS costs money.

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]Huh. I didn't know there was that kind of compatibility issue with subversions of Mac X. Well, that's too bad then.

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]
Nah, I'm curious what the problem is so I'll give it a look. Besides, although others don't have the same problem you do with upgrading, 3.6 is still one of the most widely used versions of FF so it's still worth it since I use that JavaScript a lot. ![]() |

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]Why do almost none of the downloads in the fan music section work? I was happily previewing songs fine, but when I went to go listen to them, they wouldn't play! Any answers?

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]You'll have to be more specific. Name a track or three that are giving you trouble. Are you playing them back in the browser or downloading and playing back? If on the browser, which one? And what are you using to play back the music you download?

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]Do me a favor. Try downloading the first six songs listed on that page and tell me which, if any, work for you.

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]Looks like it's something on your end. I just downloaded those tracks again, and they play fine. I recommend downloading the files once more. If they still don't work, then it's some compatibility issue with your phone. I've seen this happen with certain MP3s on an iPhone, but don't have a clue why it wouldn't play them.
