I don't think IE6 supports animated icons. Not sure about IE7 either, since I don't have a copy handy for testing. May I suggest other alternatives?

Probably. We are not used to main page updates and there is no established schedule. I know that I come directly to the forums, and hve for years. I don’t use RSS myself, but if the people who do have habits anything like mine...

I've never seen them take effect right away in any version of IE, so for now, I'd say, just give it time.

Usually, dragging the address into the address bar or adding the page to favorites makes the icon load. Not working.

Yeah, I have this place in my Bookmarks section of Mozilla, and I'm seeing nothing. Also, I've never been able to figure out RSS, so I'd probably not use it.

I'd use it. Instead of visiting the site all the time, I just see it on Google if there's any news.

Made a number of visual tweaks across the site. Fonts, margins, padding, spacing, transparencies, etc.

If the site looks really messed up in your browser, just click the refresh button to load the newly improved style sheet.

If you see any strange display phenomena, post them along with your OS and browser. Thanks!

Sorry if someone's already mentioned this.. but the manga viewer isn't working properly (at least for me). Every other view is big and blurry, and when you click on the manga page to view it in the 'original size' it goes small. I'm thinking the smaller views of the pages (seen down at the bottom of the page) got uploaded into the viewer as well?

Finally addressed a number of issues with that reader that have been stacking up:

- Fixed that weird blurring/scaling problem (due to misplaced files)
- Used "get" variables to consistently hold the scaling mode
- Fixed the cutting-short problem with thumbnail rows
- Adopted some more efficient PHP functions for file listing
- Made various cosmetic tweaks

Sorry about taking so long to get around to fixing this. Stayed up about three hours past my bedtime to fix this, but at least I'll be able to sleep now.

EDIT:
I disabled the new window from opening each time you open a volume, since it always kinda bugged me. A "Return To Index" link now appears at the bottom of the reader so that you may use it to... well, return to index.

I think and its just a suggestion, but I know the rank system isnt that long (metroid evolution). So maybe think about adding Metroid bosses,enamies,upgrades and leave Samus as the highest rank.

That would be more appropriate for the Board Updates thread and not Site Updates. No worries, though.

As it is, the titles continue beyond the Metroid evolutions for a total of twelve. To attain some of the higher ones would require making hundreds of thousands of posts, which I don't foresee happening any time soon.

LOL... You have to double your posts each time to rank up. We only have 2 Omega Metroids( one very recent) and I am am the only poster even remotely close to making Queen( appropriately enough ). While I do think that the “double-each-time” system is a bit too extreme, as long as that is kept in place, and the admins ban members who try to spam just to up their postcounts, they really won’t have to worry about adding more titles for like a decade.
