Page order issue in the color manga: the page currently listed as 9 should come after the page listed as 11.( Doesn’t make sense for Old Bird to respond to Samus bumping into him 2 pages before she actually shows up and does so.)

Hmm... I didn’t even notice the new news post, it isn’t bolded or tan in the Recent Site Updates box like same-day things normally are.

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]Where is the Memberlist now? I can't seem to find it.
Also, here are two pictures of what the board looks like for me. http://i37.tinypic.com/206nbs4.png As you can see, the top part that says 'Board Index' is for some reason extended all the way over that way. When I assume it should be like this. http://i38.tinypic.com/snm4rd.png

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]Yeah, we're currently aware of this issue. and btw-- this post should have been in this topic, so next time, please make sure where you are reading before posting these kinds of things.

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]
I actually was going to post it there, but I figured it was better here. EDIT: WOOPS. I meant to post in the version of this thread for the Board. I thought you were saying I should've posted in the 'New board' thread, which I did consider. Last edited by Lazarius on 10.22.08 8:07pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]The RSS feed don't work.

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]Some RSS readers are finnicky. I have a little app we use to automatically update it and for whatever reason it got deleted and replaced with an older version. That older version isn't automatically escaping certain characters that apparently have different meanings between URL's and XML. Pretty annoying. A current project of mine is going to totally redo the RSS feed, though. Stay tuned.

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]Hey guys, could we get the files for fanfics changed from .doc to something like .txt, or just have it be all on a web page? 'Cause I don't have MS Word on my new laptop, and I wanna go back and read Angseth occasionally

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]HTML would probably be best, as it's easier to manage special characters and formatting. Plain text also tends to have issues with wrapping in browsers. However, in the meantime you can always install OpenOffice. "The world will always be more delicious than it is useful." - Robert Capon

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]Huh. One more thing for the list. I'll get those converted over as soon as I can.
I have a huge list of things I plan to do with the site (including some major layout fixes and cleanups) as well as lots of new content. I also have the plans for a 2.0 version of the Manga/Comics reader using AJAX, and... well, more stuff I should probably not talk about yet. Girlfriend + job + school = no free time, so I do what little I can at a time. -Jesse D

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]This might be the wrong place but does your computers have Microsoft 2007 for Fan fiction submissions or is it just 2003?

Re: Stuff that needs fixin' around the MDb [ WEBSITE ]
Who are you asking? Any of the fan fictions on the site would have been written before MS Office 2k7 was released, so they wouldn't be utilizing its odd variation on the .doc format. I'd imagine that most of these fics were written in either an earlier version of MS Office, or even some other generic .doc editor (WordPad, for example). BTW Tentelumper, I dig the nickname and avatar. -Jesse D
