Who are you asking? Any of the fan fictions on the site would have been written before MS Office 2k7 was released, so they wouldn't be utilizing its odd variation on the .doc format. I'd imagine that most of these fics were written in either an earlier version of MS Office, or even some other generic .doc editor (WordPad, for example). BTW Tentelumper, I dig the nickname and avatar.
Thanks! I see you are lurking in the Secret Worlds too. And I was asking because I use Microsoft 2007 and wondered if you guys would be able to upload it or if I should just use Wordpad.

Well yeah, I made the site. It's possible to save a standard .doc file using MS Office 2007 by selecting File > Save As... and then selecting the .doc format of an earlier version of Office (use Office 2000, if available). Otherwise, it's possible for earlier versions of Office to read 2007's default .docx format if they've been patched to do so.

I know you did . How did you name Tentelumper anyway? And was his/her/it's sprite a beta enemy or random jumbeldness?

I used to take submissions for names, just for the fun of it. A kid who used to be a regular to this community last decade came up with the name. The sprite is just jumbled pieces of an existing creature. I came across it in SW2, I believe.

Isn't weird how it looks like a perfectly normal enemy? It's got visible eyes, tongue, wings, legs, and curly Q hair.

You do realize a ''normal'' enemy is a life siphoning, green gooey thing with three red nuclei and fangs right?

Exactly. That thing goes far beyond Metroid normality.

He's too cute to be an enemy. But this is also too off-topic to keep going on about.

I can see how the enemy is normal. Its mouth is wide open, and the squiggly thing is a tongue. The eyes are in the upper corners, and I see it moving kinda like a slime across the ground... So what enemy is it when un-gronked? Redwing wrote:But this is also too off-topic to keep going on about.
