I was mentioned!! I was mentioned!! My name is forever etched in time! lol!

funny no one noticed/mentioned it. :P

thanks for the recognition Capcom! I appreciate it very much! It was actually really cool to hear my name on one of your podcasts. Hopefully that wont be the last time either. ;)
Those translations are awesome. Well you know the fun time I had reading it!

Great podcast all around. I found myself nodding in agreement when you were talking about MII. The silence in that game is very well placed. I have always liked that game. Its 2nd on my Metroid list.

Hearing what the creator of this site had to say was really cool and a nice touch. I hope your guest keep better and better. Tho I think it will be hard to top TJ. Maybe if you get Mr.Miyamoto. haha!

VGM out...
Super Metroid, the most perfect game ever created! Period!

So, I used the database for a long time, but I decided to register (going now to the welcome thread :metroid: ) here on the forums after listening the podcast... And I found kind of funny how they said about running into a weird kid that could appreciate Metroid and Metroid 2. What's funny, is, I'm 16, the first metroid I've played was Super Metroid, when I was about 9 years old. After that, I was starving for more, and I went to metroid on the NES later, when I was 10. After beating it, I never knew about the existence of Metroid 2 until I was around 12, and I was like "WOW I DIDN'T KNEW ABOUT THIS GAME, DAMN, I HAVE TO PLAY THAT! O_O "
Back then, I didn't even cared about all that technical stuff, I just enjoyed the game, drawed maps, and everything. I've been a fan of old school gaming since I was a kid, because I never cared about graphics or anything, just the fun. So, I love this podcast, it made me remember my childhood, and I'm looking forward to more <3

^Agreed. :)

I started playing games when I was very young. Donkey Kong Country 3 being one of my first games, I started to like Nintendo pretty much.

However, my first Metroid-game was Prime 3. I really liked it lots, and so I thought I'd thought I'd try out the other games too.
I started a Super Metroid-file and after I got into it, I really liked that one too.

Soo, after a while, I tried Fusion, Zero Mission and the original Metroid as well.
Though I didn't like them nearly as much as the other 2 games I had played, they were still fairly enjoyable.
So then I bought the Metroid Prime Trilogy when it came out, and beat Prime 1 and 2 as well.

Then I found this site and joined the forums.
Which gets me to the Wave Beam-podcast... :P

I really liked how you talked about the original trilogy (Metroid, Metroid II and Super Metroid) in one podcast like that.
Maybe you could do that with the Prime-trilogy sometime?
Not sure how it'd turn out, but I'd sure like it. :)
Also, I've seen a few videos of Shadow Complex and it looks pretty good.
Sadly, I don't have an Xbox, so I'll probably never get to play it.

And I liked in the first episode, how you had stemage as guest.
I love Metroid Metal, so that was a nice surprise.

Sheesh, I wrote way too much here... =p

You have to go to News Archives- 2009, and down the page you'll find it.
I think, though there are only two (and they are hard to put together, I know all too well), that a small section under Features would be a good place for them... maybe?

We haven't put up a section to contain the episodes yet, but here's a quick link to the first one:

I've really liked the other ones and I'm looking forward to the next one.
I don't wanna rush you though.

There is no set date yet for the next episode, though I'd imagine it'll likely be some time in the spring. No guarantees, though!

I've a little request for the podcasts (which I'm loving, by the way):

Can they also be in Ogg Vorbis format? (I won't need to use laggy flash to listen to or download it which takes a while a lot of times)

That is all ;) . Keep the the amazing work!!

You guys will be talking about the Prime games next, right? :D
At least that's what I remember from the last 'Wave Beam' recording.
