i finally got my metroid completed it didnt come out exactly how i envisioned it, and it was a challenge to put together, but it will work...

I'm sure I'll have it in by tonight, it's 4:30 here so I'm working hard on it. There were a few setbacks I'm working to correct.

Doesn't look like I will make this deadline. Time has been sparse for me this week and setbacks keep piling up. Glass is a fragile thing. But I will keep working on it and be sure to post the finished product if anyone really wants to see it. The only prize I was really looking forward to was one of the prints, anyway; I pretty much have everything else.


On another note - Does anyone know if Beta radiation causes cancer? I think I should have this new growth checked out...nah, it's probably nothing.

Yeah, it's not as much as I had hoped, but I think we got enough. People waited til the last minute to send 'em in, just like I expected them to.

I just finished mine last night. I am also having trouble up loading my video so I will load it to You tube first and send you the link. I must say that this project was a lot more difficult than I Imagined lol

No kidding. My video ended up being almost 70 mb, so it was too big to send over Gmail. Are they going to post links to the videos when they display the submissions?

I'd like to illustrate some of the complications I've been dealing with, but I can't seem to post pics here. Imagine half a dozen broken bulbs. I finally got a good one by pure luck. It's not exactly how I wanted it, but it's G.D. close enough. I should have it done by tomorrow. And thanks, Admins , for allowing some leeway, I've had a hell of a time with this one.
