It's very likely that we'll have another contest in the future though we probably won't be repeating any contests. We want to keep the originality coming!

A couple of my gifs aren't animating for some reason. Three of them are animated, but only one is moving. :-?

Wow, I was expecting a lot more sprite work. It seems I am alone with mine, because everyone else was all like:

SUPER ARTIST SKILL POWERS!

or

SUPER 3D MODELLING SKILL POWERS!

and showed up my crappy sprite work sevenfold. But I don't care, because the artwork (and writing) in pretty much every entry look and reads very cooly!

I'm using my Cryptumor for part of my final in my 3D computer class. To be completely honest, I'm surprised that I won because I never worked with Maya (a 3D program) before until this semester. I'm deeply honored, thank you MDb!

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I was the person that did the Okadont. I do believe I forgot to give the etymology of the name.

The Okadont is based on the Dragonfly (because I noticed most hostiles in Metroids are either reptiles or insects, so I decided to combine both), which belong to the order of Odonata. This means "teeth(ed)" in Greek. However, my creature didn't have teeth. So I called them "Okadont" or 'Οχιοδούς' which means "no teeth". So no you know, yay. :awesome:

I was going to do spritework too, but laziness plus 4 research papers killed my chance at doing anything for this.
