There's a Puffer/Bull/Preed-like enemy in the Down the Tubes level in Earthworm Jim.

EDIT: I should also mention that they float around, make a loud shlurp sound when shot and fall to the ground.

That might have more to do with Earthworm Jim's predilection towards body humor than any Metroid reference though. Those are pretty much intestinal bloaty-stomach things.

Similarly it's like calling every floating jellyfish in a video game a "cameo" :/
This one is a passing resemblance. It's not a cameo.

I'll assume this one is as well, but I'm putting it out there anyway.

In Tomb Raider: Underworld, you end up in Xibalba, the Mayan underworld, on Lara's search for Thor's artifacts. There's one chamber with a big pool of a blue substance that's an instant kill if you touch it, it's sort of similar to Phazon. Sort of. Just putting it out there, like I said...

I don't know if this is necessarily a cameo, but upon reading Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps War, I came across this member of the Sinestro Corps that bears a striking resemblance to Ridley.

"You have the ability to instill great fear..."

I think its interesting. Perhaps the artist was a Metroid fan.

I'll admit, that IS an uncanny resemblance.

Isn't it? The head shape, wings, the eyes, and even the color reminded me immediately of Super Metroid Ridley.

Wow. Never played Tekken and probably won't get this one (fighting games aren't my thing), but I do like the Nintendo costumes.

Both this and that dynasty warriors game use the Other M zero suit...

I hope this doesn't mean that they're trying to make that her iconic design.

Please continue the ZSS heels discussion in this already made, 7-page topic. Leave this topic for discussing cameos/finding new ones.

P.S. if it isn't clear, a "cameo" should only be considered when it is in a game. All other references are for the Beyond Zebes feature and should be discussed here.
