Deleting Posts/Bumping Topics Enabled!

Postby Infinity's End » 10.09.12 10:18am

As a temporary experiment that could possibly lead to permanence, I have re-enabled everyone's ability to delete their own posts.

After posting, you have a maximum of 30 minutes to decide whether you want that post to remain there. I feel 30 min. is plenty of time for you to make this decision. This time limit may shrink or expand in the future, who knows.

I have also enabled the ability to Bump Topics. After 3 days have passed in a thread with no new posts, that you made the last post in, a "Bump Topic" link appears at the very bottom. When you click that button, the topic will regain its "Unread" status.

If either of these features become abused in any way, they will be disabled, end of story.

Enjoy! :adam:

Yes, those seem like great features. The second one in particular will be useful to make it evident that you notably edited a post and stuff. Thanks!
Naner, you rock.

Sounds good to me. Looking forward to see how it all works out.

Can you guys see the "Delete Post" button in the upper right corner of your post? It's a little "X" icon. Please post a reply if you cannot.
