Board updates and things that need fixin' [ BOARD ]

Im kinda lost, but the "View more smilies" window actually shows me less icons to choose, is that intentional or Im missing something?
The browser I use doesnt seem to matter since I got it on a few of them

Known issue. Can't fix it until we go into the code and that's not something I like to do/have confidence in. Ignore it for now.

I'm either blind or there is no general 'help' thread for this forum, so I'll just ask my question here. Is there a way to make links that I click on in this forum open in a new tab? Every other forum I use opens links in a new tab, and I shouldn't have to adjust the settings for my browser just because this one site works differently. This forum is the only one where I have to specifically tell my browser to open links in a new tab, and sometimes I forget to do it and I end up closing the whole thing and having to re-sign in.

Well, middle-click seems to do that on its own.

Right-click, "open in new tab", middle-click or CTRL+click. Either one of those does what you want in most browsers.

The little thread search field at the bottom of the page needs to be more clearly labelled as “Search this thread”, took me forever to figure out.
Also, not exactly broken & definitely not urgent but would be helpful if :-p would yeild

, & :YS: would give :ys:

, along with other similar nose/no nose & capital/lowercase variations for all smileys. Thanks!

Just incase anyone was curious, the "View More Smilies" windows has been fixed. It now shows every smiley this board currently offers. I have also organized our shown smileys list a little bit, and taken off the ones that aren't used as often.

LOL, it is set minimal & I check it every couple hours. Now, for your reply I got one? But prior to that it had been about a month or more, even though I subscribe to some of the major threads that get posts every day. Actually *checks cp* yeah, updated today, but the only e-mail I got was for this one. Did they get switched off for my other threads somehow? Either by me forgetfully or by some glitch?

Just added the 3DS Friend Code profile field. It will be up to Jesse if he wants to make a clickable button for it to appear in people's posts.
It'd also be nice to make a Facebook icon appear in people's profile as well, for those who want to fill out our custom field for that.
