Megatroid - game for Android

I saw a video of this game the other day. Still have to try out the game myself but thought others would like to try the game. its suppose to be a little like metroid.

Thanks for posting this, VGM, however, seeing as it has nothing to actually do with Metroid itself (other than being heavily inspired by it) it much more rightfully belongs in Gen. Video Game disc. So I'll be moving it there.

Huh. Just downloaded it to my Galaxy tab and checked it out.

As the name implies, it has lots of influence from both Mega Man and Metroid. It leans more towards the Mega Man side... The little I've played didn't feature the exploration and upgrades traditional to Metroid-inspired titles, but the influence is there.

Pretty OK fun for the low price of free. Check it out if you have an Android device.

i played a little of it after posting the OP, and you both are right, its more on the mega man side. Though upgrades are there, you have to buy them. Tho the hero is a woman with an arm canon, so that should count for something.. haha
