Pokemon Games Thread

So I love Pokemon. Except when I'm using my friend's copy to get the other starters, and playing each one long enough to make it to Castelia City to get the evolutionary stone for whatever monkey type you got. Then it takes FOREVER.

This whole catching 'em all thing is tough work, but I have a metric shit ton of Pokemon on Soul Silver so I'm making good progress.

I gave up catching them all once 3rd gen was introduced. Now there's over 600 pokemon. Fuck it.

I love Pokemon too and I think the series is just as good as it was when there was only Kanto and Johto, but I would go insane trying to catch all 649(I'm pretty sure that's the total) of them.

im pretty sure all the inbetween does is lets you catch them both, i sure as hell remember not being able to catch things like masquerain and zangoose in emerald

Whelp, after finishing the game (the ending of which I loved) I've been mopping up the rest of Unova with my Grovyle and Lucario. Gave Zoroark the Exp. Share and she's at level 73. Speaking of which, does anyone know if you can rebattle any of the trainers before? I really wanna fight someone other than the Elite Four over and over again.

So....has anyone else already caught Krurem and Volcarona?

Nope. I'm just now in that big cave with the floaty rocks and electricity.

Yeah. Both Emerald and Platinum lacked some Pokémon which had already shown up on R/S and D/P. Still, I think it'll balance things more evenly, since White has about 20 more Pokémon than Black.

I've gotten a copy of Black. I've beaten the main storyline...fooling around on route 15 currently.

I still haven't been able to beat it. I only get to play in quick spurts of the day because of my work schedule. I just crossed the second epically large bridge (seriously this game is obsessed with gigantic 3D bridges).

I'm having a blast I just don't have as much time as I used to.

Well, thanks to Nintendo's Tech Support Line, I got my 3DS hooked up to the internet! AND, my White friend code is in my sig! Just PM me if you want to battle or etc.

Just beat the final gym today. Off to the Elite Four, I guess.

LoL at "White Froend" Code. That's gonna get old fast. Btw, I take it that the 3DS' universal Friend Code isn't compatible with DS games, requiring you to use the original, game specific code, right?
