Hmmm...Mario 3 has made me growl and shake the controller a few times.

Super Mario World...that hidden world called "Tubular". OH MY GOD it took me thirty tries once!! Of course it didn't help that my idiot cousin was there saying "Give up!" and I was ready to strangle him with the controller cords. Instead I would just tell him to shut up and when I finally beat the level I was like "OH YEAH!! IN YOUR FACE!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!" XD I finally know how to easily beat the level with a blue Yoshi. Oh, and the Valley Fortress, my god. I'd cuss and all that stuff.

NES Metroid, when it took me a frijillion tries to beat Mother Brain. Again, more cussing.

Metroid Prime, all through the Phazon Mines, fighting Omega Pirate, Meta Ridley, and Metroid Prime. After several attempts at Metroid Prime (the boss) I had to put the game away, mainly because I was a few weeks pregnant and nauseous 24/7, therefore the FP view was too much for me. Almost a year later I got it back out, started the game over, and beat it with 100% item collection. :)

Metroid: Zero Mission. Not so much the bosses as much as collecting some of the items. I was going for 100% and some of the items require a ton of patience, skill, and a little bit of luck to collect. There is one energy tank in the Mother Ship that you have to have some finely honed Space Jumping skills to obtain. It took me sooooooooo many tries to get. Of course, more cussing and whining to my husband. I also started calling it SI cause I was being a mental masochist subjecting myself to some parts of that game. It was a 100% completion rate for me to be proud of, for sure.

Of course, Metroid Prime 2. Boost Guardian, Alpha Blogg, Spider Guardian. Lots of whining, cussing, yelling at the TV, shaking hands, damn near crying. (Hence my signature.)

Finally last but not least, FREAKING NARUTO ULTIMATE NINJA!!!!!!! Sorry, but in my opinion that game sucks terribly!!! There is only one difficulty setting, it's called "You are better off getting butt-raped without any KY then playing this shitty game!!". This was probably my worst nerd rage moments ever. I've thrown the controller, cussed, mashed buttons until my hands cramped, whined, damn near pulled out my hair, whatever! I gave up on that one, and I find it hard to play any fighting games now after playing any Smash Bros Games, cause none of the others stack up!

OMG for real. I hate that level to this day and I haven't played the game in years.

Oh, and how about certain parts and bosses in the Old Republic, the new MMORPG. I can't stop myself from seething and shaking my fists. :geemer:

Tubular is a consensus. I had to use the blue Yoshi to get through it when I was little. Nowadays, I can beat it the "regular way", too, after a few tries.

I'm participating in the Spring Friendly Tournament for Pokemon Black & White. I came across a couple of teams that were fairly obviously hacked (all four Pokes were shiny). On top of that, it seemed to me that their stats had been altered as well. They went down but not as easily as they should. The one person, I swear if I had been in the same room as him/her, I would have decked them in the face. I can't stand hackers/cheaters. They ruin the game for everyone.

Play enough of any Moba game and that will give you plenty of rage to write home about. Ok?

It takes a lot to make me angry at a game, and I've never legitimately raged at one, but there are a couple bosses and levels that never fail to make me groan.

I always feel a lot of rage when I battle the Champion of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, Cynthia. Coming off of a fairly easy Elite Four, this battle always wiped the floor with me back when I first had the game. Even after more experience with team building, it still hasn't gotten any easier. That Garchomp was the bane of my existence due to how cheap its stats were. This led to multiple instances of me wanting to throw my DS across the room.

Also, I know it was brought up before, but it bears repeating. Super Mario Galaxy 2's Final Star. The Perfect Run. THE PERFECT RUN. By the time I finally made it to the end, I'd said goodbye to over half of my massive reserve of lives and any hope of feeling joy for the rest of the night.

I'm almost ashamed to say this, but not once in the many many times of playing said level did I ever once think of using a blue Yoshi. I can beat the stage almost no problem now normally, but I can't believe I never tried doing it with a blue Yoshi all those years ago.

The fight with Wolf and his gang right before the Andross fight on the hard path in SF64 is so tough as to be infuriating, especially in the N64 version. (It's a little easier in the 3DS version.) What happens to Oikonny and Pigma in Assault is a little comfort when they shoot me down, however. ;)

I bought a new Mario game and realized it was the same thing as what I played 12 years ago.

I don't typically get angry at my games. I would say that the most annoying, frustrating moments are in Pokemon, trying to catch legendaries. Wasting 48 ultra balls trying to catch something you'll never actually use is... Infuriating.

Thief. Every mission. I love the games, but I suck at stealth :P. On the bright side, I don't think there are very many other Thief players as skilled at in-game fencing as I am XD. (Note: The game itself tells you you're supposed to be bad at swordplay as no one should even know you're there to draw their blade in the first place. That lasted all of ten minutes in the first two-hour long mission...)

Edit: Oh yeah, the rage part comes in in that all that swordplay usually leads to a good half dozen deaths every time I enter a new area and manage to get every guard in that room chasing me down... again, I suck at stealth x_x. Maybe I'll go back after my latest rage-quit next month...
