I'd probably hold back for a while with either a Vita of 3DS.

There are finally some nice games arriving on 3DS, Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid may just be for you but beyond that I'm not too sure.

Super Mario 3D Land and Pushmo. 'nuff said.

The Crush 3d demo is pretty cool, probably going to pick that one up.

Ghost Recon is really goofy so far. You could tell that the devs didn't want a story but the publisher required it so they just ripped off GI Joe. The leader guy is named Duke, and you've got not-Roadblock and not-Scarlett and all the dialogue is pretty much "Let's get the bad guys!". It would have been awesome if they went all the way with this and the main bad guy was a blatant Cobra Commander ripoff and missions were about blowing up his weather machines and stuff.

I think Crush 3D is an interesting concept, but its execution is far too simple, especially for a retail game. From what I've played of the demo, it doesn't stand a chance against Pushmo.

Something important I forgot to mention. Having much replay value would be a major plus. I'd like to squeeze every last drop of enjoyment from a game before shelving it. That's what you do when money is short.

I've looked at Mario Kart 7 and it looks amazing! There are other interesting features like coming with an SD card and be able to play music. Even though I already have a laptop, it's just a drag to go through the whole start-up process just to listen to some music.

I should talk about this more with my friends. Part of why my childhood was amazing when it comes to gaming, I had friends and family who also enjoyed gaming so we lent games to each other like crazy which resulted in a lot of games played, including many of the classics. That would sure be efficient for us as individuals. Thing is, I'm not sure who in my circle of friends plan to join this 3DS bandwagon.

How does it compare to the original PSP version. That one's pretty challenging. I still haven't finished it. <3

Hm, sifting through the 3DS games list and so far I found two games that catch my eye:
Nano Assault by develope Shin'en. Looks pretty impressive to me. Gameplay looks fun, visuals look downright awesome but I hear it's kinda short.
Old Skool Classics by developer Visual Impact, Publisher: Storm City Games. Nintendo's site places the release date in early December 2011 while Storm City Games' website puts it on Q1 2012. Hm... Guess it hasn't been released yet. "7 of the most playable games of all time"

Mario Kart 7 lacked a bit in the single-player department. There, Mario Kart DS is still the best out of all of them, because of that pretty cool mission mode. Too bad they didn't bring it back. :(

I don't know, I haven't played the PSP one. *looks up on the web* Whoa, the graphics on the PSP one are much more detailed! The 3DS version reeks of laziness, if you ask me.

Oh come on, what will your computer run with two GPUs that it can't with your current one? My GPU isn't even extremely high-end (GeForce GTS250) and it plays pretty much any PC game. Getting a 3DS and Wii U will increase your potential library much more than adding SLI or CrossFire to your computer.

You don't play at BF3 1080P and want 60FPS always do you? ..... :awesome:
Really I am better off sticking with my HD6950 and getting a PS3 and a Wii U. They both have games I want to play now and in the future..... stilll Crysis 2 max out is very desirable. O_O

This week the Toys R Us website, as well as some of their store locations, are having a buy one get one half off sale on 3DS, DS, and Vita games.

Next week, as a promotion to coincide with Mario Party 9, all Mario games and accessories are buy one get one half off. These include Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7.

Which I intend to buy.

Now is the time to capitalize, my friends.

I've finished a small slew of 3DS games including:
RE: Revelations (wish it was a lot longer, but meh. If you want to Raid Mode, PM me, but remembuh, I have school and I'll need your friend code because I don't have time to comb through the topic for everyone's friend code)

MGS3D (It's still Snake Eater, just the frame rate basically gets brutally raped every time more than 10 things are happening on screen, i.e. The Pain's bees, but other than that is was basically Snake Eater on the go)

BlazBlue:CSII (because I didn't really want Extend, and when I get a Vita it and UMVC3 are going to be stuff to get for it) I actually really enjoyed my first outing into the BlazBlue series and the D-Pad was awfully fitting for this one. Awkward, but fitting.

You just have to get it from someone else. I got them from Aaron Kaluszka, who works for NWR, and i think he got them from NintenDaan, who is NWR's Japanese correspondent? And he got them from someone... and so on.
