I was wrong. According to Kotaku the XL has a better 3D effect and graphics look better.
Now I kind of want but not really.

Re: Nintendo 3DSOut of those, I'd tell you to get Resident Evil: Revelations. The other two didn't get much of a reception.

Re: Nintendo 3DSResident Evil is really nice, not without it's faults but on the whole an enjoyable game.

Re: Nintendo 3DSCircle Pad Pro XL confirmed, though nothing has been shown. The system is probably going to look like a battleship, but you can now play Metal Gear on it.

Re: Nintendo 3DSI just bought one of these. I have yet to install it, though. I'm considering waiting until my battery is really bad before using it. It's already pretty bad, and gets drained if I leave it on in sleep mode for more than a day. I'm going to probably wait until it dies in about half a day.
If anyone is concerned about conserving the battery life on their current 3DS, I recommend TURNING OFF THE WIRELESS immediately if you aren't using it. |

Re: Nintendo Unveils the 3DSXLShould this thread just be merged with the normal 3DS thread? What do y'all think?
|

Re: Nintendo Unveils the 3DSXLI say go for it. We've been talking about the 3DSXL in both threads anyway.

Re: Nintendo Unveils the 3DSXL
Sorry, i just think as with the DSIXL, why would you use 30 more dollars, just for a larger version of the system? (i didn't now it enhanced battery life even though this is a 3DSXL topic, does anybody have a DS or DS lite? i do. I don't care how much you wanna Hate, I am a Sailor Moon fan FOR LIFE!!!!!!

Re: Nintendo Unveils the 3DSXLNot everyone has as much tolerance to small screens as we do. And it's also been confirmed that the 3D effect is actually better on it. There are plenty of little reasons, really. It all goes down to preference.
PS: please do merge the topics. |

Re: Nintendo 3DSthreads have been merged. please carry on!

Re: Nintendo 3DSShinobi is surprisingly good so far. Really, really goddamn hard though.
EDIT: More detailed impressions: Good stuff: -Its kinda like NES Ninja Gaiden but with an expanded moveset. -The levels are really long, there are lots of alternate routes, minibosses, etc. -Shitload of unlockable content (concept art, cheats, VR training missions, trivia about the old games, etc) -Most enemies die in one or two hits, but you can still do combos on them to raise your score. I like that alot. It gives you a reason to be fancy while keeping the game from getting tedious. -It's really difficult and having to parry and dodge everything is really satisfying. -Cool music. Bad stuff: -There are some cheap deaths. -It looks like a DS game, and whats worse is that it runs like a DS game (30fps -3d effect is shitty. -Checkpoints are too sparse. This is a pretty neat little action/platformer. It's going for $15-$20 just about everywhere, and it's totally worth that price. |

Re: Nintendo 3DSLuigi's Mansion got delayed to 2013. That was the only game I was looking forward to this year...
Castlevania got delayed too, but it looked like it really needed the extra time. |

I haven't played the first one yet, so they can take their time. Don't be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams.

Re: Nintendo 3DSMeanwhile, on the eShop front, Metroid Zero Mission still has not been announced...
Glad Paper Mario got a release date though. "I am tired of being under the weight of greedy men who don't believe in anything."
