I am making my own Game

I am in the process of of making my own game with my cousin, called Krade's Tale. I took a lot of inspiration from metroid, and the main character Paul Krade took his name from kraid; although it would be more reminiscent of zelda. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for where to sell it, it is made with game maker and will be for the computer for now. I should be releasing a demo soon if any one is interested. I will post a link on the Paul Krade page on facebook, so anyone can download the demo who wants to. Visit the facebook page for any questions you have on the game, because I don't want to reveal too much about the game.

In general, it's best to first finish a game before thinking about selling it.

And once you're done with everything in the main bulk, you'll have to playtest the hell out of it to get all the bugs out.


Believe me, I've been down this route before, so I know it's good not to get ahead of yourself.

right, and I am sure that making the rest of the game will take longer than I think it will. I just get excited sometimes, but I hope this will turn out well

sounds like a simple re-skining project. the tough part is rearranging the levels.

The game is about a warrior named paul krade sent off to find a powerful sword in order to slay an evil dragon, that is the basic plot. The demo is the first temple and is part of a sub plot actually.
as for selling the game I need to have a basic idea of where i am going to sell it, and this is not a mark of our progress in how finished the game is; we have more done than this. I am trying to take this slowly one step at a time, but I just need an idea of where to sell it that way I know what I am doing when I get to that step.
