It would have to be edited more than Ocarina of Time was (I'm assuming you're talking about the arab thing), and, unfortunately, I don't think said game's sales would quite justify the effort...

I say our biggest hope is a complete remake of the three games for 3DS. Or maybe Wii U.

huh, never noticed that, I'll have to check that out. what was wrong with the original things?

When it came to the Fire Temple theme, the actual dungeon theme had chanting that said "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah" (obviously, Islam). Even though that dungeon theme was imo better than the new one, it is understandable why they got rid of it, since the Muslim Faith should have no relation to Zelda whatsoever.

As for the other ones, I'm curious to know as well (especially the mirror shield).

The mirror shield bore the Gerudo symbol and the original symbol was also reminiscent of Muslim art.

Yes, which automatically implies it's also about copyright and other things that can make a game censored or unpublishable.
