Yes, we all know that the Metroid Series is fantastic, but I'd like to know some of your other favorites, outside of the Metroid Box! (Again, I apologize if this has already been posted, My bad!) Here are some of mine (in no particular order):

It's very hard to pick just five. I'll just stick with these for now, but if I was to be stuck somewhere with no other games to play, I would have to choose more wisely.

Super Mario Galaxy (1 or 2...?)
Chrono Trigger
Zelda: Link to the Past
Shadow of the Colossus HD (comes with free Ico!)

I admit that the draw system in FFVIII was plain nauseating. But the rest of the game was fantastic in my honest opinion.

I have to agree with Zelda II Adventure of Link and Final Fantasy IX!

I also love FFX, Paper Mario, Super Mario 2 & 3, and a few others.

A Link to the Past. Still waiting for a Zelda with a world filled with as many secrets and items you can find exploring the overworld as this one. The hub mechanic in Skyward Sword wasn't my cup of tea.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. My first online FPS, team and objective based, nothing quite like it. I dread to think how many hours I've clocked up on this game. Introduced me to modding also though ironically it's all the silly mods that made me stop playing this game. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars gets a mention here also, not nearly as good but I did move onto it regardless, still playing it every now and again.

Super Mario Kart. No snaking and no blue shells and no gimmicks. I spent hours playing against my cousin both racing and battle mode, he would always get the feather and camp in the water the lame ass. I've not played the last two Mario Karts though.

Mario (Platforming ones). It's hard to pick just one title, I would say 3, World and 64 are my favourites. They are just what games should be, fun.

There's a lot more than just 5 though...some others include Crystalis, MetalStorm, Battletoads, any Mario title, Terranigma, Ikaruga, Gunstar Heroes, Sin & Punishment, Ico, Demon's Crest, Killer7, No More Heroes (basically anything by Suda51). I'm also LOVING Shadows of the Damned, such a pity it got absolutely NO publicity.
