I got nothing against Sony developing a mascot fighter, yet so closely mirroring Smash Bros. style may well prove ultimately detrimental. According to previews, PSASBR (that's a hell of an acronym) follows the same basic Smash formula of ring-out centric combat perpetuated by simplistic and accessible controls. So here's Sony blatantly lifting SSB's core principals with likely little, if in fact any, added innovation in conjunction with failing to realize they have no unified identity through their various intellectual properties, attempting to capitalize on a niche market that doesn't exist on their console with a game that will come across as too casual for the fighting game fans of the system, not nearly family friendly enough for the casuals themselves by way of the representation of Sony's "M" rated properties, and all together disjointed in aesthetic and presentation likely confounding anyone in between.

It honestly looks fun, and if I gave even the slightest damn about any of the represented franchises I'd consider picking it up, but at present it's little more than a SSBB clone with a far less interesting setting and roster, so unless Sony has something truly innovative, or at the very least interesting, to unveil in future then I fail to understand the reasoning for this game's existence.

Yeah, pretty much what Apothem said. It doesn't help the fact I am personally against supporting a game that's a blatant copy of another (I have no problems with Sony or any other first-party developer, but really?). Its not even that Smash Bros. made a new niche genre of fighting/party game, and that Sony is expanding it with new features. That I would have no probs with. But this really does look like a shameless copy. Don't get me wrong, it probably will be fun, but yeah...no thanks .

Since Banjo and Kazooie were born on the Nintendo 64, I'd be personally offended if I saw them in someone else's crossover title.

Alas, I'll probably end up getting PSASBR because I love Smash Bros. but I've been playing Brawl for four years now and this will probably be a good passtime until the next actual Smash Bros. games arrive.

The first two are hilarious if true. Nothing makes your game stand out like the B-Tier versions of popular characters! I take it back. Those two would probably be the most fun characters because they would actually have complete move sets.

Nariko would be bottom tier because she'd have 300ms input lag on all her moves.

It was on eventhubs. Apparently Sony put it on their website but quickly pulled it.

Sony came out and said it's fake, but that's what they said about the last round of leaks so who knows.

Trailers are up for Spike, Sackboy, Ratchet and Clank and Dante.

So far, Ratchet looks like the most fun character. Everyone else just seems kinda bleh. This pretty much confirms the last round of leaks. Looking forward to seeing Raiden in action.
