River City Randsom VC

I just bought river city randsom for the vc on monday and im lovin it, but im not really sure what to do. I know you have to beat all the bosses in order to enter the highschool, but do you have to do it without dieing? Im pretty sure Ive beaten all the bosses, but ive died quite a few times. Any help would be appricated. Thanks

I think you're able to die... you just lose half of the money that you had on you. I'm not sure if your stats go down at all though.

I've been playing it 2-player with a friend. If one of us dies, the other one walks off-screen, and then the person who died is back again with full-life. You still lose half your money for dying, but at least you're still at the exact same place and don't have to back-travel or anything.
