i always slaughter a captain falcon player with samus, being person sized they are just a big target for me as for precise movements, in the new one i have 0 button lag long as im using a wired controller...maybe you need more practice?

I get the feeling the point I was trying to illustrate went right over your head. Allow me to rephrase:
In Super Smash Brothers Melee for the Nintendo Gamecube the player has more precise control over their character thanks to advanced movement options like wavedashing, dash-dancing, shield dropping, directional air dodge and aerial drift. In Super Smash Brothers for Wii U/3DS the player does not have access to those movement options, making the game less enjoyable to play as a whole.

nah it didnt go over my head im not an idoit, i just honestly think you probably need more practice, and i think the fact that they can balance the new one and take out game breaking glitches is a more than fair trade off.

I would rather play Melee since Melee is generally more fun to play despite lacking some content.

Also, I wouldn't call Smash 4 "balanced"

I'm discussing game mechanics, my personal skill isn't a factor. In Sm4sh the player literally has less options out of shield by design than in Melee, skill has nothing to do with it.
As for your second point, what are the "game breaking glitches" you're referring to? Wavedashing is a result of the physics engine, characters collide with the ground when they air-dodge down to prevent them from going beneath platforms, allowing wavedashing. L-cancelling was intentionally put in the game. Dash-dancing is a result of the way the dash and run animations work. Shield dropping is a matter of how the control stick is rotated while shielding. In terms of balance roughly the same percentage of characters are tournament-viable in Sm4sh as they are in Melee.

I (Jigglypuff) was goofing off on the side of the stage while my brothers were fighting, but when they noticed I what I was doing, they came to attack me, but got put to sleep by Sing right next to one another, and I was able to Rest both of them at the same time and get two KOs.

I'll never be able to do that again. o_O
