Apart from Samus, I like to play with Zelda/Shiek. Goes back to the days of spamming Shiek's smash moves on SSBM and pissing off my brother. :3

I don't really like samus here.
Fox is definitely my favourite cuz of his awesome speed and reflector. Then falco and wolf.
Link's pretty good too as is pit.
Ike is way overpowered with his smash attacks thats why I prefer marth.
Cpt. falcon is also 1 of my favourites.
Olimar is kinda funny continuously throwing pikmin.
And I hate kirby with his 1 inch range attacks.

Only Zero suit samus, regular is too floaty for my taste. I use all the fur fags, Ike, C.F, and Meta Knight (Not competitiively w/ this guy)

Other than samus/zzs...
Lucario- controls are somewhat similar
Shiek- controls are similar to zzs
Fox- pure agility and reflector
Luigi- you can pull off some neat combos with luigi

Samus is obviously my main, I've used her from Smash 64, through Melee, to Brawl. We've been through a lot together... good times.

*ahem* My best and favorite character besides her is Diddy Kong, it used to be Link in the previous games, but Diddy suits my need for speed best. I don't spam banana peels though, I like to get up close and beat opponents down. I've also been liking Donkey Kong lately, so my order of best characters would be:
Samus
Diddy Kong
Donkey Kong
Link

I do like to mix it up with Snake occasionally though.
