I've made two.
Brinstar, based off the starting area from Metroid...it's not an exact replica, but considering the limited space I had, I think I did a decent job.
Ridley's Lair, based off - you guessed it - Ridley's lair from Metroid. Once again, not an exact replica, but as close as I could make it. I personally like this one a lot.

I'm turning this into a sticky. If anyone makes any Metroid-themed Brawl stages, take a screen capture of it and post it here! Maybe we'll open up a new part of the Brawl section to accommodate them.

Woman are not sexual objects they are people too. And most of them could kick your ass too. I would if i could find you Woman don't belong in the kitchen. They have lives. Just because your too self centered to see that doesn't make you better then woman

Pretty cool stuff. Too bad they don't like to give you a great variety of tiles for this. How will this look if you stick it into the underground temple stage?

Not sure. I'll have to try that.
I thought that it was just a temple at nighttime, though? Pretty sure I saw clouds in the background...I'll have to double-check. That was why I didn't use that one in the first place, because I thought it was outdoors.

and i made the top spines real spikes, the bottom legs are ice so both regions have different strategies.

Not as bad as my stage that's all spikes. The four landing platforms are all the falling blocks, so there's nowhere to stand haha. The computers go insane.

I've only made Brinstar based on the version in Metroid and Super Metroid. I'll work on some more in the future.
Anyway, here's my Brinstar: -
The general layout, it's very large so I couldn't fit the whole stage in one snapshot.
There's the Morph Ball pillar and the section before it.
Lastly, the lift leading to Tourian.
