Original now available on virtual console. In case if you haven't noticed, the original Super Smash Bros. is now available on the virtual console. After playing Brawl for a long time, it's taking me time to get used to. I've already beaten one player mode with Mario, Donkey Kong and Link.

Re: Original now available on virtual console.Yay, finally!! Gonna get that as soon as possible.
I like what they posted in their site about the game:
Futuristic references FTW. |

Re: Original now available on virtual console.Got it. It lets me use the GCN controller without the clunky PC adapter I have; maybe I'll eventually get enough practice to be able to play with it online.
I wish they'd included even a person-to-person, friend code-only online mode in the VC release, but they didn't. So I'm stuck playing on the moron-infested Kaillera servers like Galaxy64. Melissa ![]() |

Re: Original now available on virtual console.
Actually I kinda didn't care since I had the Austrailan or European version (I THINK) on my Wii for almost a year now. |

Re: Original now available on virtual console.I thought the earlier games were the best. with Melee being the all time greatest of them all, but then again seeing as no matter how hard you 'train' and learn every technique, it's still possible to have the shit kicked out of you by someone mashing every button repeatedly. So although fun, the game mechanics in all of them are not particularly sound.
Still to complete:
Metroid Prime 2: disk is broken... Metroid Prime Hunters: Bored, but almost done Metroid prime corruption: In progress Super Metroid: Started |
