Do you think Ridley is too big?

If Ridley had a chance of being a playable character in Brawl, do you think he would be too big? I think they could have resized him and make him about as big as he was in Melee's intro.

In the 2D games, he's not that much taller than Samus, similar to Bowser in comparison to Mario, which is how the sized him in Brawl. If they could do that for Bowser, I don't see why they can't do that for Ridley.

I think the reason they made it so he wasn't a playable character was to avoid the sizing problem.

And being able to use it as a weapon? I think that constitutes a certain illegal act that should have no part in SSB.

He is much bigger then Samus and this is with him crouching. If he stood up properly he would loom over her cause he is so big.

You know what's worse than that though? Sakurai's Bimbo Man Voice Suit Samus.

I also hate the voice they gave her. The first time I heard it I was like "WHAT? What was that I just heard?". Samus should not have voice acting at all (prime series doesn't count).

I agree, it seems from what little we have seen that the voice for Samus in Other M is somewhat suiting for her. I suppose.

It's more of an insult to put Ridley and Meta Ridley into a cast of bosses that are overall unimportant characters in their own respective series namely Petey Pirana and Rayquaza. Those are actually the only two I really recognized and I know they are not as significant to their own series as Ridley is to Metroid. First, Petey Pirana is like a minion boss in Super Mario Sunshine and has pretty much filled that same role in New Super Mario Brothers and Partners In Time. As for Rayquaza, it's simply just another legendary Pokemon not all that special at all. Considering Ridley's reputation in the Metroid Series, him being a boss in Brawl is an insult (in my opinion).

You know what's worse than that though? Sakurai's Bimbo Man Voice Suit Samus. It's a shame that this site shows that disgrace, rather than showing an image of something that's actually a part of the Metroid Series (Dark Samus from Echoes or heck even Ridley).

Once they release Metroid Ultimate Dread, they'll have Rildy in Super Samsh Borthers War because Ridley will be cut down to size with his clone Rildeys and they can fight Samus and her clones which will be the alternate colors and Gorea will be there too because he is also connected to the clone rildsys somehow.

That's my take on it.
