Super Smash Bros. for Wii U / for Nintendo 3DS discussion

I was kinda disappointed at how Brawl didn't contain any elements from then-recent games such as Corruption and Galaxy. There's only so much Smash can spoil in a game (such as Zelda/Sheik ), and nowadays the game feels lacking because of that.

Super Mario Galaxy stage? Yes, please.

I've had this crazy idea for a while now that maybe the characters could each, on their last life or in the last 20-30 seconds on a timed match in at least one mode, transform into their ultimate versions.

Link would get the powered up master sword he usually has at the end of his games, light arrows, giantbombs, etc. Mario would grow in size and his fire balls would become more powerful (that or he gets the tanooki suit). And Samus could get hyperbeam, super missiles and power bombs.

It would be fun to see each character at their most powerful fighting it out with very limited time/lives left to do as much damage as possible (and really who doesn't want to see Link firing light arrows collide with Samus' hyper beam in HD?)

That would be awesome, but the "hardcore" smashers would freak out because it would be extremely unbalanced.

I'd still love it as an option (which I would use often).

I know a lot of people will murder for saying this, but after playing a lot of SSF4 and DOA, I decided that if the next game is anything like Brawl, I will NOT buy it. I am sorry, but after playing all these other great fighting games, I am starting to notice more and more flaws in SSBB, and am starting to forget what the appeal of the series was in the beginning, so I don't think I have a real reason to stick with it. Sorry, but I just wanted to share this.

What's so bad with SSF4? Other than Seth and to a small point Zangeif, the balance is excellent. The new Mortal Kombat is rather cheap, but fun as all heck. To be honest, I think DOA is the best of the four (and not for THAT reason).

It's completely unplayable. And I like games I can play.

As for the next Smash... I hope it supports the GameCube controller, somehow. Maybe a Classic Controller shaped like a GameCube one?

Brawl already supports GC controllers. How did you not know that?

Damn it Ino, you're starting to annoy me. I hope the next game maintains support for the controller, since we don't know if the Wii U will support it yet.
