Seriously, that's the lamest winning clip they've made so far.

Really? I think it's awesome. It may even be better than Captain Falcon's "YEEEEAAAAUUUURGH!!" celebration from Melee.

Rioght, time for my views on the characters now!

Mario: No problems here, except the damn F.L.U.D.D. is useless.
Luigi: Best. Taunt. Ever.
Peach: Still one of my top characters, and it's REALLY fun to just smack people around with her in my opinion.
Bowser: Don't use him much, but his side-b makes things really amusing (and annoying for the opponent) near the edge of stages.
Donkey Kong: Heh, cannot deny DK. Hardly ever use him though.
Diddy Kong: Ugh, he's useless to me.
Link: No quabbles here.
Zelda/Sheik: In my top 5, just love using her.
Ganondorf: A lot mopre individual this time round, but still a bit slow.
TWW Link: I utterly refusue to call him "Toon" Link... still, very fun character to use.
Samus: Number 1 character (with ZSS). Screw Attack hurts again!
Zero Suit Samus: A nice addition, and really apreciated by yours truly.
Pit: "Hiyayayaaaa!" "Your not ready yet!" "Think you can beat me?" *shudders*
Kirby: Kirby sucks z;)
Meta Knight: Fast as hell, but rarely used. Has the "badass" appeal though.
King Dedede: Comic relief character numero uno.
Fox: Still useful, if a tad cheap.
Falco: I used to hate Falco in Melee, now I quite like him. Used often for CD collecting.
Wolf: If he had his onw damn moveset then I'd say good things about him... if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all.
Pikachu: Most badass Pikachu in a SB game imo.
Lucario: Meh.
Pokemon Trainer: I actually never use him, but when forced (random character/SSE/etc) Charizard all the way.
Marth: Still epic as ever.
Ike: I really like Ike (zomg, I like Ike!!!1) but I'm still getting used to him.
Mr. Game and Watch: Heh, fun to muck about with, otherwise rarely used.
Ness: Barely used.
Lucas: Never used.
Snake: Codecs = win, also very good once you get used to his moveset.
Wario: There is absolutely no denying Wario, everything he does is just classic.
R.O.B.: Does "it wouldn't be a Nintendo collaboration without him" say much? He's alright I guess...
Olimar: Heh. Lookit! Pikmin! Barely used...
Sonic: "I'm too cheap!"

Wow, long post z-_-;

I think you forgot Captain Falcon.

2- Why exactly do you use Falco for CD collecting?

3- If you want to collect CDs, use a character with a shot or item-gettable F-Smash(Ex: Wario) and play a hell lot of long versuses. Like, Stock 20 or Time 30.

Actually, a good way to get CDs is to make a stage with all conveyor belts pointing to one platform. Also, there should be conveyor belts above the platform. Put only sandbags on high and use Meta Night's up A smash to hit the sandbags. They drop items, so you get a whole lot of stickers and CDs.

The stage should look like this:
</>= direction of conveyor belt

Everyone knows that. :D

Ness: He's my main. His aerials + One of the few character with good throws + PK Fire Barrage = Win.
Ike: Second main. I know he's overpowered, but that's why I like him.
Lucas: I mained him for a while before switching to Ness. He's still pretty good, his up smash is amazing.
Pit: I know he's annoying as hell, but he's a great character.
Dedede: CHAIN GRAB FOR THE WIN
Snake: Yaaaay explosives!...
Captain Falcon: I mained him in Melee, but he's been nerfed a whole lot. He still pwns though.
ZSS: Aerials combos FTW.

Aside from his side+B and arrow spamming? 'Cause I main Pit, and I always try to refrain from those (and if there's anything else you feel that gives him a cheap advantage, I'll probably refrain from using that either). My friend that always comes over to play Brawl got used to pit, and is way cheap with him when he uses him, but I can still beat him with my Pit. :P His speed and aerials are perfect for me. Besides, his Up+B not only makes an excellent recovery, but it offers a lot of mobility.

Ah, just Counter his side B with Ike, Marth, Lucario or Peach. That will show the f***ing angel who's boss.

I've finally come to appreciate every character in brawl, except Diddykong...

Dedede... is actually one of the most powerful characters in brawl, his down B and forward A smash are extremely powerful and first hits with them can launch characters considerable lengths. Kirby is the same as always well balanced with attacks compared to meta knight and Dedede

ZSS... is great at keeping people off the ground with long slash attacks and up moves

Ness... stop spamming PK fire
ROB... a little slow with attacks, good long range attacks and side A, awesome final smash and recovery move.
Olimar... You need to know how to handle the Olimiester, in other words he's very good at defenses
GANON/FALCON... talking about similar moves not saying they are the same, ganon is slower but stronger, falcon is faster but weaker, wish the knee was more powerful.
Meta knight... long time to damage someone considerably and final smash sucks since it hurts teammates, but has good reach and speed
Snake... slow but traps are great for encouraging people to watch him more carefully and attacks are fun and powerful.
Sonic... please, he's fast but man he is weak, he sucks around smash balls because he can wait till another person softens it up and rush in. plus hide under stages......
Jigglypuff... won't use it, attacks are WAY too based on luck and timing.
Wolf... meh, displayed my feeling of resent to have another fox clone who is slightly slower but stronger.
Game & Watch... fun, same old attacks, F-Smash is quite entertaining but needs to be able to fly, good sausages have other meats to keep them company.
Lucario... good moves but way too bleh for me for some reason he's not very appealing to me, maybe because they put him in simply because of recent Pokemon movies like mewtwo.
Pokemon trainer, sorta like Zelda able to turn into sheik and ganon, fun to play with.
Diddy Kong... recovery is useless in some cases, peanuts barely ever come out of his popgun and wind up in anybodies mouth, his banana move has way to much drama involved and should take less time, side B Karate/grab pretty fun to use but otherwise his most useful move yet.
Bowser, pretty interesting, slow but fun to kamikaze someone with side B.
Pit, annoys me when playing as Samus, he has TWO FRIGGEN REFLECTION MOVES excluding his L-R shield, fun to play as but not always against if your a long range character.
Wario, up B recovery isn't all that good but everything else is fun and useful.
Link, Mario, Samus, Donkey Kong, and all veterans are either nerfed or slightly tweaked but otherwise the same.

Winner of the best taunt is...
WARIO!
shaking your rear at the opposing player is obviously truly a taunt and deserves respect from everybody!

he didn't mean zelda could turn into gannon. I think he was comparing the pokemon trainer's pokemon to zelda, shiek, and gannon.

damn, there's a lot of red underlined words in that...

Ah, I was imagining something like that. But Charizard is a bit more agile than Ganondorf.

Mario: They ditched the Mario Tornado in favor of the FLUDD, which doesn't even damage. Lame!
Donkey Kong: Okay, but not my favorite heavyweight.
Link/Toon Link: Both roughly the same, but I favor Toon Link. His aerial down stab won me Boss Battles in Insane mode.
Samus: Suited, she's decent, but I like the speed of Samus when she in Zero Suit mode better.
Yoshi: Don't really use.
Kirby: Fun to goof with.
Fox/Falco/Wolf: I like the speedy characters, and the Lylat crew brings it in spades. Wolf's my personal favorite, and I would've cut Falco in favor of him (the bird had his day in Melee). Don't forget the hidden messages in their stages.
Pikachu: Cheap. But that's what you'd expect from the most popular Pokemon in the series.
Jigglypuff: The Dan Hibiki of Smash Bros., only here because of it being the second-most popular Pokemon. Weak.
Capt. Falcon/Ganondorf: Between the two, I go with Falcon. Ganondorf does have his moments, though.
Ness/Lucas: Occasionally used for fun.
Luigi: He's-a-Luigi, numbuh one! Honestly, he fared better than Mario in the transition to Brawl.
Bowser: Always good for a few rounds, especially if you can unleash Giga Bowser.
Peach: Not my cup of tea, really. Occasional round or two, but not a keeper.
Zelda/Sheik: Most everyone favors Sheik. I favor Zelda. Her spells deliver more punch, yet she's still fairly fast.
Ice Climbers: Not worth it.
Marth: The more favored of the two Fire Emblem characters.
Mr. G&W: Novelty, nothing more.
Meta Knight: I can't see why everyone calls him overpowered when his attacks are fairly weak.
King Dedede: HELL YEAH! He's my fave heavyweight! Strong, yet still mobile enough to keep in the game.
ROB: Again, novelty.
Pokemon Trainer Red: Yes, he has a name (he was named Red in Gold/Silver when you fought him), and he's a big ripoff. I expected to control Red, while his Pokemon moved with him and attacked (similiar to Olimar and his Pikmin) Instead, he just stands there in the background safely. :x
Ike: I don't like Ike. He's too damn slow.
Diddy Kong: Fun on occasions.
Pit: Link with better air capabilities. The better pick between them.
Olimar: Play the Pikmin to your advantage, and he's pretty okay.
Wario: He's fun to goof with, and he's not a bad fighter, either.
Lucario: Better than Mewtwo. At least Lucario isn't a Legendary, so they don't have to nerf him with sucky stats like with Mewtwo for the sake of balance. He's actually a good fighter, especially when his damage starts rising.
Snake: A bit slow, but still powerful. His codec messages also bear mention on account of their humorous responses (activate it when fighting Luigi to see Col. Campbell in a very OOC moment).
Sonic: My all-time favorite. His speed gives him a lot of attack opportunities. Activate Super Sonic and you've pretty much won the fight (which may explain why it takes a while for Sonic to smash the Ball).
:metroid: = Ultimate Warrior
8) = Ultimate Warrior
Therefore, 8) = :metroid:

Now you know why they call it Metroid.

Really? Got to try that. After Coruption.

I've learned to be hell irritating with both forms of Samus. Using her impressive arsenal or speed.

Back in the old days, you mean.

Maetch wrote:Ness/Lucas: Occasionally used for fun.
PK FIRE!

Maetch wrote:Luigi: He's-a-Luigi, numbuh one! Honestly, he fared better than Mario in the transition to Brawl.
Sure as hell did. Good thing Inf's idea of him using the Poltergust didn't come to be.

Maetch wrote:Peach: Not my cup of tea, really. Occasional round or two, but not a keeper.
I sometimes
use Peach because she has the best damn horizontal recovery.

Maetch wrote:Zelda/Sheik: Most everyone favors Sheik. I favor Zelda. Her spells deliver more punch, yet she's still fairly fast.
I'm not alone! Even though I rarely use them.

Maetch wrote:Meta Knight: I can't see why everyone calls him overpowered when his attacks are fairly weak.
I think the mean overspeedied.

Maetch wrote:King Dedede: HELL YEAH! He's my fave heavyweight! Strong, yet still mobile enough to keep in the game.
Dedede's only good thing is his strength. His Up + B is too suicidal. His B is useless. He looks like a penguin Santa Claus.

He's a POKÉMON TRAINER! They don't know what knuckles are for!

Maybe, but Jiggly's been in Smash since the beginning. It's now obligated to always appear and piss us off.

I'd like to show him, that stuck-up jerk. Thinks he doesn't have to get his hands dirty just 'cause he comes from a world of lazy humans. You don't go into Smash Bros. just to stand there and bark orders at Pokemon. You have to actually be able to fight.

I wouldn't know, 'cause I only play against the CPU. Besides, CPU Sonic isn't nearly as skilled (obviously).
