Favourite Characters:
Samus/ ZSS
Lucario
Ness
Samus is an all time favourite, and I've come to like her ZS form as well.
Lucario just plain rocks. Nuff said.
Well, not enough said. I've gotta go on about him! Him getting stronger as he takes damage is awesome, for one. WALL CLING = AWESOME. UP B INITIATING WALL CLING = DOUBLE AWESOME
Ness - Well, He's just so cool. I love to be different, so I try to play characters not many people would. (That's why I'm training with Ice Climbers) He's PK Thunder 2 is awesome. And PK Flash owns.

I think you have to hit the opponent with the very tip of Falcon's knee for best results.

Yes the falcon knee is a precise artform...
As for me I was quite saddened when I heard Dr Mario wasn't in brawl...I got good with him in melee
Nowadays I lurves Samus/ZSS (who here doesnt?) but I my first love was definately pokemon trainer...
PS I hate Lucario...dont ask me why I just hate him as a pokemon
PPS Pokemans = serious business
Woo! Yay! Houplah!

Dk and Diddy are also some of my favs, great with Diddy and Dk. But even if you have skill with DK the fact remains he really slow.

even if I hated the series I'd love samus in brawl. She has a nice balance between zerio suit samus and in her suit. In her suit she is pretty dam powerful (especially against a newish player to the game playing as kirby), but if you fall off the ledge, although an excellent move, the upwards spin in morph ball aint gonna help much. But as zeros suit samus, her attacks are weaker, but longer ranged, she's easier to dodge with, and if you fall up, the up+b whip attack will save your ass from losing some points. It's easy to switch from samus to ZSS because of her power, but harder to change back. But if the Final smash ball moves too far off stage and it's about to break, the across+b whip can earn you back your suit.
Overall samus is typically excellent, but in Zero Suit, I think she's portrayed to young.
I also liked Olimar(I can't remember why), and Meta knight was my favorite for all the time it took for me to get samus in single player.

Was that a kirby insult there?

No, he was just saying Samus kicks Kirby's ass(which is the truth)(if he has an ass).

Dude, look at Kirby closely, he's just an ass with a face. Lol. I still like Kirby though... not as much as Samus of course.

I wasn't insulting him, I was just saying.
mainly cus someone who hardly plays it came over and played as kirby. Kirby couldn't stay out of lava in norfair when I got too close as Samus.

Okay so I was playing around as Samus, and discovered this 'trick'
Well I built this custom stage, it's basically a floor and then a 13 block high tower (Full height of a large stage) in the middle. I was testing who could get over it, only those with very high jumps, (And Lucario, as well as other wall clingers)
Well, I was testing Samus and she could jump 9 'blocks' high. (Double jump, then a wall jump, then screw attack) Then I remembered the bombs. I knew I couldn't bomb jump over the wall, but I had noticed that after a wall jump against a single wall, after a few seconds the game allows a second wall jump. The time between them is so long that you fall far faster than you can jump.
However, I discovered that using bombs to keep me in the air for a bit longer allowed me to get a second wall jump and actually gain height!
So far I have managed to increase my jump to 11 'blocks' (Double jump, wall jump, lay 2 bombs, wall jump, lay 2 bombs, wall jump, lay 2 bombs, wall jump then screw attack)
I think I could get higher but I'm not the best bomb/wall jumper. Also after a while wall jumps don't get you so much height.
Just thought I'd let you know. This has no real use in matches, unless you're playing on a stage with an 11 block high tower in the middle. (Like I am now)

Try jumping, wall jumping, jumping again and then Screw Attacking/Bombing. I use that to jump around 10 blocks with Fox.
