It's time Samus got some good moves that made her play like she did in the Metroid games. So without further ado, I will present my Samus Aran customized moveset. It is modeled in Metroid Other M design of the suit, FYI.
-----
Samus Stats
Height: 6'3" (taller than shield bubble)
Weight: Medium (Mario's weight) The reduced weight better fits the Other M model of suit and balances out the agility of Samus.
Power: High
Aerial: Excellent
Priority: Slightly below average
Recovery: Game Benchmark (Samus is the best Brawler in the whole game for Recoveries.)
Special Strengths: Fire attacks as well as explosions do less damage than normal.
Special Weaknesses: Ice attacks do more damage, Samus will be stunned for a longer time than normal.

Moveset (Gamecube Controls):
A-Thrust Arm Cannon (low damage, stun, low knockback)
A>- Plasma Beam (short range, medium damage, stun, no knockback)
A^- Uppercut (low damage, stun, low -upwards- knockback)
Av- Leg Sweep (low damage, knockdown)
Double Jump- Space Jump
Dash A- Speed Booster (high damage, high knockback) This one is hard to control without going off the sides.
Dash Av- Morph Ball (no damage, press A to exit, B to Bomb, X uses Spring Ball)
Aerial A- Thrust Arm Cannon
Aerial A^- Upwards Shinespark (short distance but high damage and knockback) Only one Shinespark of each type is allowed per aerial trip.
Aerial A>- Sideways Shinespark (again, short distance but high damage and knockback)
Aerial A<- Wall Jump (no effect unless timed right, wall jumping off of enemies as well as stage features is possible)
Aerial Av- Down Kick (knockdown, use to jump off enemies)
Grab>- Grapple Lasso (no damage until you press Z again to throw.)
Grab^- Overblast (High damage, knockdown) Requires a full charge. If charge is present, that will be used. If not, it will charge at the standard rate. Enemies can shake Samus off.
Grabv- Lethal Strike (Very High damage, knockdown) Same rules as Overblast, and it's easier for enemies to shake you off.
Hanging Attack (0-100%): Samus will haul herself up with a Screw Attack.
Hanging Attack (101-200%): Samus will quickly pull herself up with the Power Grip.
Hanging Attack (201-999%): After one second of lag, Samus will drag herself up slowly.
Hanging Attack<- Samus can fire her Wave Beam while hanging, aiming in the direction indicated by the joystick.
Smash A>- Ice Beam (short range, low damage, freeze)
Smash Av- Sense Move (no damage, hold B to automatically gain full charge on Power Beam)
Standard Special- Power Beam. Functionally identical to Brawl's version.
Side Special- Missile. Again, functionally identical to Brawl's version.
Side Smash Special- Super Missile. Brawl style.
Up Special- Screw Attack. Can be used up to three times in midair.
Down Special- Bomb. Can be used for a Bomb jump as well as a ground based attack. When done in standing form, automatically morphs to do this, B in Morph Ball mode also does this.
Final Smash- Power Bomb. Samus has 30 seconds to find a spot on the map (preferably the center) and drop a Bomb. Samus, for this, will automatically charge her Power Bomb up. The blast does 500% damage to anyone in the radius, but does no knockback, requiring Samus to finish her enemies off manually.

(like in brawl but it's a toss up as to which beam will be fired, with ice beam doing freezing damage, plasma doing fire, etcetera and a low chance of firing a hyper beam, high sideways knockback, medium lag)
