Help with Metroid!

Postby Fusion » 08.26.10 11:14pm

Don't know if its the right place to ask, but here goes nothing.

I recently started playing the original Metroid for Game Boy Advance and I was wondering if you could save the game without killing yourself :P . I'm not playing the "Classic NES Series" version of Metroid for GBA, I'm playing the version that's unlocked after beating "Metroid Zero Mission". I looked online and couldn't find anything (only finding tips for the "Classic NES Series Metroid"). I really appreciate the help, thanks =) .

Nope, every English release of the game uses a password you can only see once dead. Sorry bro, I've never beaten this game myself.

Oh, so the save only works on the "Classic Nes Series" version. Iv'e heard that if you press up and select at the same time, you could perform a quick save for the password. It didn't work in the "Zero Mission Version" for the original. Anyways, thanks!

That method works in the VC version, but then again that's a direct port of the NES version.

If you wish to get your password without dying, press Up + A on Controller 2. Not Up + Select.

The Gameboy Advance doesn't have a Controller 2. I can confirm this works on VC version though.
When somebody tells me he doesn't believe in violence, I punch him in the face to inform him of its existence.
