I made friends with a wolf spider at camp, because we had no windows, just mesh, and he slept next to my pillow.

I'm afraid of swimming in the ocean and being pulled out by underwater streams, fighting for my life to get back. O.o I dunno why. I just am. Also, I'm afraid of spiders, some snakes and dying in an extremely slow and/or painful way. There's probably more things, but that's all I can come up with for the time being.
Thanks to Kaiser for the sig and avatar.

I'm scared of a lot of things but I really don't like bugs. I usually try to get them out of a window because i don't want to kill them but they are to stupid to see a big gap in a wall

I think Kaylee was talking about the window. I don't really have fears anymore, I conquered my fear of the dark and of heights. Now I actually like the dark, and heights only make me feel slightly nauseous (but climbing trees is really fun!) I don't mind bugs, I kind of like spiders despite feeling uncomfortable when any kind of bug/insect is on me. I despise fly's, and their young, the maggots! I find them repulsive and will kill or remove any I find (another reason I like spiders and venus fly traps).
Still to complete: Metroid Prime 2: disk is broken... Metroid Prime Hunters: Bored, but almost done Metroid prime corruption: In progress Super Metroid: Started

I'm not really a fan of large heights either, especially if it doesn't look or feel secure. When we we're looking for houses, we saw this one shitty house not to far from our current one, and it had a rickety old staircase going to a rickety old walkway that goes around half of the inside walls of the house. As I steeped I could hear the creeking of the wood under my feet, it's a very discerning feeling.

I'm not really fearful of bugs-- I've seen plenty of scorpions in my life but I know to just stay calm and kill them. I guess one fear that's been haunting me is the fear that I'll be hit by car or something utterly devastating and nobody will come to help me. After that headline with that man in New york it truly made me rethink about how others teat people. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZpBgZ4WgjEI never want to die like that-- but somehow when I cross the street I have an uneasy feeling that maybe- just maybe a car won't stop and I'll get hit. Also the feeling of being attacked or raped is always in the back of my mind when I walk alone, but I keep my wits about me and walk brave and tall to be on the lookout of possible danger. As far as more normal/common fears-- I do have a fear of heights. But it's gotten smaller and I've less fearful then a was.

Spiders are one of my few, really strong irrational fears. On one hand, my arachnophobia is somewhat justified, since spiders do tend to bite me a lot (I think its because I roll around in my sleep a lot). On the other...that really shouldn't make a difference with harmless orb weavers and the like.
