Re: MinitroidThis looks lovely. What are you making this on? Some pre-built platform like GM, or a custom made engine? Some of the physicsare reminiscent of the stuff you usually see on games made with the Flixel Engine.

Re: MinitroidIMO, the loud enemy death noise should be reserved for kills by missile or the missile explosion sound in general. It's still too loud.
Also, it seems like Samus can travel through ridiculously small tunnels that look like they would require Morph Ball. I think it would be better to either widen those or need Morph Ball to get through. Finally, I hope the final game has a map feature ala Fusion and that items and such hidden walls show small cracks if you look closely. |

Still working on the SFX. A few of them will be replaced in the end. There's really no need for morphball as Samus can already fit through the smallest possible paths, but it will be added for other things. There are no plans to add a map, especially one with ZM/Fusion's features. it's completely unnecessary and mitigates exploration. There will be a new item to take it's place though. Destructible blocks are marked, look closely :3

Re: MinitroidI'm a little bit disappointed that you aren't adding morph ball or a map, but the rest of the game looks very fun and I really want to see what your vision is and play it before judging harshly.
Specifically on the destructible blocks, I meant the hidden missile tank at the end. With no morph ball/bombs and no map, finding a block that is not marked in any way would be excessively tedious. |
