Hey, cool!
Yeah, when I went back through a while ago I noticed it looked like he had redone some of his strips.

Majoras mask took about 31 hours in four sittings(cost heeps $950 australian). The metroid one will cost about $1200-$1500 and take about 40 hours CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I look forward to seeing it, but there's one thing about back tattoos... you'll never actually see it with your own eyes. EVER.

That it is. Though it can't be good for your health, though a crack head would argue otherwise.

Looks pretty awesome. Personally I wouldn't have made the outline that thick, but still it looks great.

Yeah, I gave her quite a bit of artistic license with it. I hadn't planned on getting the blue in the "S", but she talked me into it. I'm happy with it.

OK I have to ask just on principle, and that maybe one day I'll do something similar. How much does getting one of these hurt, if at all, and if so what can you compare the pain to?

Well, the outline most definitely hurts worse than the shading (the black has to go in pretty good). In some places, it felt like a knuckle with a sharp piece of metal on it dragging across my skin. In other places it felt like a rough massage. Drag a needle across your skin a bit. That might give you a pretty good idea. It also depends on where you get it. I've heard that back tattoos hurt less than in places such as your hands or feet. Also, try to steer clear of bones, stick with muscle, it goes in better.

true. when I got mine done I stupidly asked the tatoist, wheres the strangest place you have done a tat? He said nothing and went under his desk to get his photoalbum. He then showed me a mans genitals with a sailors hat at the top and a little uniform all the way to the end. I wish I hadnt of asked  Now thats gotta hurt!

Ohh man, that had to be PAINFUL! Ironically enough, my tattoo artist and I sort of talked about areas that we didn't want needles going. That would definitely be first on the list.
