satch, havent you ever played metal gear solid 3? every one carries one emotion into battle (ie, the fear, the sorrow, the joy). Samus happens to be "The tear", as in, she cries at EVERYTHING, even jellyfish she sells to science to use as a duracell battery. i think a visual aid is in order.

The little Metroid would try to hook up "that really cute Choogle", but Mama Dearest Samus would be there to cock block her every post. She will go to school, and Samus will hide in her backpack as a morphball. On her first field trip, Samus will "aggressively insist" (read: aims charged cannon at principal's head) that she goes along with her.

Now that I think about it, the baby could have been female (for a Metroid, anyway). Samus calls the Metroid Queen she and that Queen was a clone of the baby, so...

Or else it's only a she once it's evolved to a Queen?

i did too, seeing as they only reproduce via eggs from queens and exporsure to certain radiations....mabey she just calls it a she because its title gives it a theoretical gender? as in the still reproduces asexually (unless theres some lucky bastard omega hiding somewhere) and all that, but will be reffered to as she simply because it lays eggs?
