I don't particularly find the game sexist either, but the jokes that come out of it are hilarious.

"Did you see that scene where Samus had that panic attack when Ridley approached her?"

"Wait. What was Ridley doing in the kitchen?"

Part of me feels like they're trying to hard, but for the most part I really can't stop laughing.

Not quite opposite, because I don't dislike it due to sexism. I don't really see any sexism in Other M.

That's what most of me feels like. There have bern plenty of hilarious jokes at Other M's expense, but it seems to me the meme is recycling the same three gags it started with.
