100% glitch free run through for me but I have to admit as much as I really like this game if I'd have fallen foul of the glitch people are reporting I would have been really pissed at this game ![]() "Wargle!"

Re: Metroid: Other M GlitchesThe only glitch I came across with with the battle with MB and when she summons the bugs, I remember one of the bugs wouldn't get out of it's egg-thing. The other two bugs were in the back battling the troopers. I was unable to shoot and kill the bugs, even though that part doesn't really matter because your suppose to target her. xD
It's still a glitch so I'm having it on here as reference. |

Re: Metroid: Other M GlitchesThis isn't really a glitch since the developers intended in it, but I think it is extremely revealing about Other M in general.
I don't think I've ever seen something like that from a Nintendo game, much less a Metroid game. |

Re: Metroid: Other M Glitches
Yah I had trouble with that. I was like-- "Damn those invisible walls!" I never did get that item. Though isn't there a door that leads to it from the other side? |

Re: Metroid: Other M GlitchesYeah you use the speed booster in the big room before the save point.

Re: Metroid: Other M GlitchesI somehow managed to get a Baristute standing in midair after blasting it with a super missile in the abnormal gravity rooms. It behaved exactly as though it was on the ground until it jumped, at which point it landed as if nothing ever happened.

Re: Metroid: Other M Glitches
Thats because of how the room works, under the stairs and walkways there is nothing, so you shouldnt be able to jump over any ledge there. If they let you, there is potential for some sequence breaking and secret worlds |

Re: Metroid: Other M GlitchesI've encountered a glitch in the Main Sector that's starting to get super annoying. Essentially, whenever I'm traveling through the Main Sector and reach the large room with the bathroom offshoot to the left, my game freezes to the point where I can't even reset it; I have to turn the Wii entirely off to get things working again. As far as I can tell, this is caused by simply traveling through the Sector too quickly, not giving the game enough time to load rooms in advance, which brings back "good ol" memories of the Prime games. Having the Ice Beam that allows killing all the minor enemies in the initial areas of the Sector in one shot each sure doesn't help.
The first time I encountered this glitch, I solved it simply by doing the same thing Prime 1 forced you to do: wait in the hallways on either side of the bathroom-linked room for a few minutes before going in. However, once I got the Speed Booster, it didn't seem to matter how long I waited; the game will still freeze when I open the door for that area. This MIGHT actually be related to the Sector 3 glitch, because I went back to the Main Sector after fighting Rhedogian on the materials transfer lift. I was under the impression that the problem was just going back to the save point at the bottom of the lift, but perhaps it's ANY save point. Though why the game would freeze due to that instead of just a door staying red, I wouldn't know. I've seen others talk about the game forcing them into a Now Loading screen during the freeze, but no such thing happens for me. The game completely freezes, though the music still plays, and all visual effects on the HUD are frozen too. No Now Loading text ever appears, and I can leave the game running for a long time and it won't fix itself. Unfortunately, unless I manage to figure out some way around this, I've screwed myself, as I saved back at my ship. Thus, I don't believe there's any way I can get back to the Sector elevator without going through that room. |

Re: Metroid: Other M Glitches
Lol, you know what I mean, this game is suppossed to be linear |

Re: Metroid: Other M GlitchesSecret worlds? Sequence breaking? More like falling infinitely into nothingness and having to reset your console. Other M doesn't have Prime-style pits, so you can't be allowed to move over empty space.
Pretty simple stuff. Melissa ![]() |

Re: Metroid: Other M GlitchesSo apparently the cause of the main glitch has been found
http://gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=136582 Can anyone here test this? |

Re: Metroid: Other M Glitches
There is much dispute on this topic; it's being said by some that this causes the glitch but there are people who have gone back down and saved, and they didn't run into the glitch. I'm wondering: at the end of the fight on the lift, once you kick the thing's butt, it tries to get away and you can down it with a missile. Maybe letting it go is a problem. Who knows. |
